Overall I like it, but I don't think Peterson is going to drop to 21.

I think he's a great prospect but a bit over hyped , and I dont see anyone taking him over Prince and after that one team with the glaring CB need i dont see anyone besides the the Rams will pick him up. But the farthest he will drop IMO is 21 I just think he'll get there.

Nice effort JTJ....good to see another mock.

    A few issues:

No Michael Floyd, Greg Romeus, Jurrell Casey??? IMO, all are locks to be Round 1 picks.

I really like Peterson, I believe he's the next great CB to enter the NFL, Prince is real close in ability.

I love Tyler Sash, but not in Rd 1 and before Deunta Williams, Rahim Moore and Mark Barron.

Just from my experience, I don't see a Center going that high, especially Wisniewski.

DeMarcus Love is overrated but I do see his stock rising. I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of OTs at the top of this draft.

I really like the majority of your selections....Arizona QB is a good point

    False.

    * Nice mock, man. There's just no way Peterson will fall that far. He's destined to be a top ten pick.

Robert Quinn is the best defensive prospect in college football, but his stock may drop a bit after missing so much time.

    14. San Diego Chargers- Joseph Barksdale, LSU, OT

    Barksdale goes to San Diego

Forgot about Floyd and Casey! That was my bad have to change that a bit . And I love Romeus but I feel like Bailey is a better DE prospect and will just miss the first round.

I LOVE Peterson as a CB prospect , but I just dont see anyone in the top 10 who can skip on all of that talent for a CB. The only team would be the 49ers but there ZERO chance they pass on Clayborn.

I can admit Peterson will probably go higher but i tried to make this interesting and there will be a few that drop.

Your right though I can see teams like the Giants, Seahawks , Redskins, Chargers, and Vikes picking him but I went for immediate need.

Oops didnt see that my fault.

But about your comment on Sash I really feel like he's a dark horse talent at safety and mark my words his stock will boom come combine time. He's an athletics freak of nature. Btw I love Williams but hes an Early 2nd rounder for me.

Great right up man! Im just saying and I think youd agree that his pure intelligence in the game , hard hitting play, and over athletics could and IMO will earn him that 1st round bout but only time will tell

Yeah PP7 is not going to last 21st overall. If anything he is a dynamic Returner, in the relatively little time I have spent watching college ball, outside of Reggie Bush, I have never seen a guy who can take the ball back like he can

IMO Barksdale is kind of overrated, he had some penalty problems this year. I'll dont think he is a lock in the first. Though I will say as fucked up as LSUs offense is, protecting the QB hasnt been a huge problem.

I think you have guys here who could all feasibly be first round prospects, but as of right now Im not sure they are first round prospects

With the low amount of OL prospects many will take the reach who need an Olineman .

I have to say I cant remember in recent years where the OT board was so mixed up, I've seen so many people have so many different rankings. I see what you mean as far as lack of prospects that may be top OL prospects

Yeah the Oline prospects are really slim this year, I still have the feeling though someone will emerge as the best OL guy. Its just that no prospect has really posed themselves, so far, better then the next guy. Thats why this draft is even harder then usual to predict.

Well it goes back to the idea that the draft has a way of having certain consistencies like when everyone said Suh or McCoy was going to be drafted one overall, anyone who knew the draft knew that DTs just dont get taken first overall. I think something similar could happen where people sort of just take tackles because they need it. Though strangely, many of the teams in the top 10 dont need lots of offensive line help

I could see the Lions looking to draft a OLineman since it would basically sure up there OLines future and help Stafford. But your right other then them I dont even see the top 15 besides maybe the Chargers unless they lose McNeil addressing the OL with there first pick .
