While I agree with you there's something I disagree with if I may add, these players have the potential to be dangerous in the N.E. offense, but they are IMO still unproven, what has Brandon Tate proved to us besides being a dangerous returner? Do you really think he can be a #1 in this offense? Taylor Price, Julian Edelman all good role players can they step up when Moss is gone for good? I can see what Bellicheat is doing here, get rid of Moss and have WR by committee, he must be sick of Brady throwing to Moss on deep throws and killing drives.
Oh I'm aware of their potential, and Brady is capable of using any WR and being successful. I think losing what Moss brings to the table, that constant deep threat who most DCs must double-cover will be a big blow to them this year though.
pats may send moss back to minn? My biggest thought is that Bill has been trying to get back to the types of receivers--and teams--that won him championships. Agree with Mr E that there's talent there. The problem is, Welker and Hernandez are the only ones really putting it together right now. And Hernandez isn't a good prospect, he's a good TE. Already.
Moss didn't get many targets last night, period, and that includes the first half, when they trailed. I am not aware of any targets other then the aforementioned endzone play. OK?
No way Moss does anything next Monday night. He's joining a new offense and Cro was able to shut him down. With a healthy Revis back he'll have no chance.
haha i only posted because I could see it somehow happening seeing as how they are in dyer need for a RB....belidouche would figure out some way haha
incarceratedbob **BREAKING NEWS** Sources indicate Patriots & Vikings have agreed to trade & all that is left is for Randy Moss to agree to new contract (4 mins ago) When incarcerated bob isn't making up news he is 30 minutes late in repeating others...
There is no way New England gets a first rounder for Moss. No way. Anquan Boldin was traded with a fifth rounder for third and fourth rounders this past offseason.
The Jets just need to be concerned about their players, not worried about Moss. Play Jet's football, no turnovers, ball control and limit penalities and it will another W.
incarceratedbob **BREAKING NEWS** Once again to confirm my previous Tweet - Patriots have agreed to trade Moss to Vikings - Deal needs Moss to approve it I guess repeating yourself counts as breaking news now? What is this, ESPN?
Sure, the Pats have plenty of weapons on offense aside from Moss. But I think that you are underestimating the impact that Randy Moss has on that offense--he is legitimately one of the best receivers in the history of the NFL. Sure Brandon Tate can burn you, but you don't have to design your entire defensive gameplan around him like most teams have to with Moss. Unless the Vikings are really desperate and greatly overpay, if the Pats ship Moss out of the division it's a win for the Jets.
wow. i could definitely see this happening. brad children and the entire desperate organization is going to overpay for a 33 year old receiver for one shot at a super bowl. a 1st might be a little high but i wouldnt be surprised if they offer somewhere close. moss is in a contract year, already complained about it, and the patriots already are building their WR corps for the future with tate and hernandez. it makes sense for them. personally, i dont give a shit what the patriots do including who they draft or how many picks they continue to steal, because the way the jets look they are going to need all the help they can get for the future.
