Lynch, Forsett and Washington... nice... I wonder if they'll re-sign Leon though at this point...

Leon will be lucky to get any touches outside of returns.

Bills only got a 4th rounder and a conditional?? Lynch is signed through 2012... I'm amazed the Packers or someone else wasn't offering more. Sounded like there was considerable interest in him. Whatever, I'm happy to see the Bills continue to be an easy out for us.

That was the first thing that crossed my mind.

I can't believe the Packers didn't offer a third for him to get him in Green Bay for this year. They have no running game. As good as their passing game is, I fully believe teams with really good defenses (like the Jets!) will be able to bottle the offense up because they'll make the Packers completely one dimensional.

I was hoping he'd go to a team that was more in need of a RB. Hopefully Lynch can still put up some good numbers. The value of Lynch and Spiller on my fantasy team both just increased.

Not sure if I should start him right away or leave him on the bench (in favor of Spiller) to see how it plays out over there. He could lose carries to Forsett.

I'd probably play Lynch over Spiller right out of the gate in fantasy, unless your league gives points for return yards. The Bills offense is worse than the Seahawks, and I think the Seahawks were in need of a bruising back to compliment the shifty Forsett. Lynch could be a decent play the rest of the year.

The stress of being a Bills fan has officially ended today. Personally, I think Nix and Co. are clearing the players who don't care enough to win. Trent was too reserved, Marshawn clowned around too much, Kawika is just Kawika. I'm guessing Donte is next. You guys need a loud-mouthed Safety?

This season has just bottomed out, and we're only 25% the way through it. I plan on having fun. I wish you guys luck, because between the three evils that are the AFCE, it the Jets turn at the wheel now.

Well, they're cutting Jones, so Leon is still the best RB on that team.

Look at Bradford and the Rams this year. He's pretty solid so far, esp. for a rookie. The Bills rebuilding starts with drafting a top QB and a little protection to keep him off his ass.

The problem is, looking at the Bills history over the past 10 years in the draft, I'd rather trade out of the first round. We'd almost be better off going for a solid 2nd round QB than take the chance of getting a Ryan Leafesque flop. We need a solid draft a couple years in a row. I'd rather draft the protection in the first round.

frankly i would think the best way to fix the bills is to do exactly what the Rams did two years ago. Bring in the franchise left tackle that way the protection is drafted has a year of experience and developing. Then the next year you bring in the franchise QB, and hopefully by then Spiller is developed and the bills have brought in some capable receiving talent and potentially have a defense.

The rams started the rebuilding process last year by getting a LT, now they get the QB and appear on their way to returning to being a contender. Personally I hope the bills muck up their next qb (Come on Locker!) but thats just because things are so much more pleasant for the Jets fan in Bills country when the bills suck.
