I've got Marshall on my fantasy team so I'll root for him. Besides that, I just don't think the Patriots can win just because they have "Bellichick and Brady" anymore.

Look, it is not clearly better for the game to end in a tie. It is also not clearly better for the game to not end in a tie. There are solid arguments to be made on both sides. You are not thinking it through if you say otherwise.

    Let's examine A and B here.

    A
    Jets 3-1
    Patriots 2-1-1
    Dolphins 2-1-1

    B
    Jets 3-1
    winner of 10/4 game 3-1
    loser of 10/4 game 2-2

In scenario B, one of the teams is going to be in some early season trouble with both losses being to division rivals.

In scenario A, none of the three teams would be in early season trouble.

Ok, i think i get what you mean. Your rooting for one of the teams to come out with their mentality all f*d up.

Root for mass injuries and shitty play, basically.

I'd much rather that as of midnight Monday the Patriots had barely squeaked by the Bills and tied the Dolphins and the Dolphins had lost to the Jets and tied the Patriots. They both look down in the mouth in that scenario.

I'd say Miami because I still think New England is our biggest threat in the division.

That is part of it. I also would like less of a mess at the top of the division. Obviously, I'd want the Jets to win the division easily but it is more likely that it would at least be a 2-team race. It is a 3-team race right now and really still will be if we get a winner tomorrow night, but there would start to be some separation. The loser tomorrow night will suffer division loss #2. It would be a big deal.

Again, you can argue either side here.

i'd rather the patriots win because i bet on them lol

that and i want dolphins fans to go into suicidal tailspins.

the patriots schedule is awful...they have like a 5 or 6 game stretch with the best teams in the league. phins also are in the midst of that rough stretch, but their back end is a lot softer and they don't play the colts and chargers. that horrible defense will fail them sooner or later

I would say the opposite. Miami is our main competition in the East. The Pats are there but after playing each team in our division, The Dolphins gave us the most problems.

if miami loses this game they will go into a huge tailspin. from 2-0 to 2-2 and 1-2 in the division to go on their bye week only to come back to an onslaught of playoff caliber teams will make miami's season go south very early. They have GB Pitt Cinci Balt Tenn and Chicago the next 6 weeks. That is a brutal schedule.

Man the week 1 loss didnt bother me really, at the time...

Now seeing the way the team could have played and that we could have been undefeated at this point, it bugs me a little hahah.

Granted the Ravens were probably the best D weve faced so far this season, and I understand that the loss may have set in motion what has happened since then...Im just saying 1 point and were undefeated woulda been nice.

I have mixed feelings about it but I still fear New England in a big game more than I do Miami. I just think New England's offense can be special when they are on their game, whereas with Miami, I think they have a good offense and a good defense but aren't elite in any one area.

Cheering for Miami so that we can hold the conference record lead as well as the divisional record lead. Go Fins!!! (I think I just threw-up in my mouth)
