Is it confirmed that he aggravated the injury this week when he tried to practice? I thought I read a tweet saying that this week?
^ This. I'm getting a little concerned about how easy tomorrow's expected to be. If we get the sort of Jets performance that we've seen the last couple of weeks then of course we should blow them away, but history tells us that we just don't do things the easy way. That having been said, I do agree about not risking Pace or Revis.

they've played three games. got blown out in one, scored a gang load of points in another againts a team with apparently no defense, and then lost another in a low scoring game against a Dolphins offense that has looked terrible except against the Jets pass defense. but in all three games they've been chasing from behind and in two of the losses couldn't even overcome their opponents shitty offense or defense. that is hardly putting up a fight.
A lot of guys are out of the lineup, especially the front 7. I hope the secondary has that communication snafu working now.

I didn't expect Revis or Pace to play this week, even if they were good enough to go. Think about your options.... 1) Risk injury against the lowly Bills (if we lose, then we look stupid for doing this) 2) Rest Revis and Pace until we need them against the Vikings. Really is a no-brainer. They will both be back next week...

It would be one thing if he was just sitting out and healthy, but he is actually hurt. Injuries happen, and yeah its quite likely the lengthy holdout led to this, but oh well, he is back in the fold, and he will be healthy come the end of the season when we have to have him.
