I don't know why I'm so surprised, but what a funny articulate man Big Trev is. Obviously excited to be in NY as well. Well played the FO. (Interview with Eric Allen) Pryce - " There are alot of jealous people in the NFL, that want to play here , that want to coach here" I keep having to pinch myself
what's with the Green bashing? Green was better than Pouha or pretty much anybody else at putting pressure on Hehne in the plays that he was in the rotation. I expect him to be resigned and be on the team most if not all the remainder of the season
Ouch...That's gotta sting. This is a very interesting dynamic, for a team that's also a contender and needs to make roster moves from time to time. Haven't had this since Parcells came down from NE.
Taylor is on pace to get the ten sacks Rex said he would and Pryce on the other side should get four or five over the rest of the season not to mention the pressure he will provide.
To me this is about raising the quality of the DL rotation. If he gets a sack or two and several pressures that is great but I think the rotation can stay better rested and produce better as a whole with this guy in there. YOu can tell how he feels about Rex and how he really wants to preform for him as well as for himself.
Hopefully having Pryce and Taylor will allow Vern to get some one on one isolation where his speed can finally be a asset.
Man his presser makes me so happy as a Jet fan. Rex is definately our man and if this presser didn't confirm that I don't know what else will. We as Jet fans finally got the coach we have deserved and wanted for so long now, I only hope when he has a few bad seasons we don't run him out of town. I want him to be our Bill Cohwer.
I knew Rex was our man before he ever coached a preseason game for us. Hes not just an awesome coach, hes an awesome person and with him here we will always have a competitive team because great players want to come here and our homegrowns wont want to leave.
Just got around to watching this. Holy Mackerel.....this guy has a future in broadcasting. Articulate, insightful, funny, and has perspective.
