Just watched the Trevor Pryce press conference on the team website, and I came away very impressed. You hear a lot of talk about how guys will want to come here to play for Rex, and here's some proof. He seems to have his head on straight, and it sounds like he's going to be motivated to prove the Ravens wrong. To be honest, I didn't know much about him before today, but after watching the presser, I think he could become a key player for us.
I wish everyone would listen to Rex's presser....His joke about Kerry Rhodes was hilarious..... about 11:30 +/- in.
Thanks for the heads up, I always try and listen to Rex's pressers, gonna go listen to both of those now.

What, no Revis presser to tell us why he won't play again this week, or next week, or the week after that, or...or...or....
If you haven't watched this conference you should. This guy genuinely has a tremendous amount of respect for Rex. He's also a pretty amusing character (ginger ale)
sounds like a very intelligent and very humble guy who is genuinely thrilled to be back with Rex. "He gave me the playbook and I took a look and knew it already" "I was going to take my family to Six Flags this weekend and then Rex called and said "Six Flags, huh??? you're going to be playing the Bills this weekend!"
Pryce comes across as a genuine guy with a good sense of humor. Don't expect Pryce to come in and set the world on fire. He'll be a role player and play in certain situations. IMO, a few pressures on the QB a game and a 6 sacks for the rest of the season and he'll be a success.
Christ if he gives us 1 sack, its more than we would get out of Howard Green. I expect his stat line will be around 20 tackles and 3 sacks, with 5 TFL. which would be a great statline for a rotational guy. But if he doesnt record a single sack, but generates a rush up the middle, and allows our outside guys to pick up sacks, he is invaluable to us.
A few QB pressures a game and 6 sacks in the 13 games would be setting the world on fire. Pryce is gonna pay huge dividends for us (particularly on 3rd and longs when he's out the with Taylor, Ellis and Pace)......but your projections are about the most we could ever hope for.
What it comes down to is he's still better than Kroul, Dixon, Green and Gholston at rushing the passer. Rex obviously thinks so too or else he wouldn't have brought him in and say he's going to play already 3 days after signing.
