Nice article, but it kind of lost me here:
Why put him back to a position at which he struggled to produce/earn playing time when a position switch was actually beginning to get a few positive results?

Haha he pretty much called out Braylon twice.

"Jets would have beaten Baltimore if it weren't for his penalty"

"There's no one I can call and just say hey 'lets go get a beer' ...sorry! i mean kool-aid....I know that's a sensitive subject around here"

that was a pretty sweet segment. Pryce was talking about how Rex compels his guys to work a little harder to reach the high goals he sets for them.

Similar to him saying Revis was the best corner in football just after the 08 season, in which while stellar, Revis clearly was not the almighty he became in 2009. I think Rex's lofty talk, made Revis work harder and do everything he could to become the player he became in 2009.

Whether thats true or not, I dont know, but I certainly believe there is some truth in it, the way our defense played in 09, after the way it played in 08, with only 3 different pieces says to me, Rex's method works.

Hahah that last line was more of a joke than a shot.... I listened to the press conference......Lol yeah I got an hour and half to kill before hockey .....Pryce seems like a really cool guy. I bet he was very well liked by his team mates in Baltimore.

Rex is more powerful than any God known to man.

We should all remember how lucky we are to have this guy as our coach.

For some reason, after watching his press conference, I get the feeling that he's going to be hitting quite a few bongs with Shaun Ellis and Damien Woody (Wood just looks like a pothead)

Now we can rotate guys on the line which will be a huge plus. He's versatile like Ellis which is another plus.

We'll see how much he has left, when he's on his game he was very good and an underrated player in the 3-4 setup (after being a very good 4-3 DT for years).

How many guys would ever say that about Belichick?

When I heard that the first thing I thought of was during the Baltimore MNF game when they had Ladanian's player spot.

Qusetion: "Why do I want to play for the Jets?"

    Answer: "Because of Rex Ryan."

As far as the long-term future of this franchise is concerned, I think people seriously under-estimate what it means to have a head coach who has a college-coach's recruiting ability. It's damn near unheard of.

Million dollar athletes just normally follow the money. We have the exception.

If he gives us one ring he will give us a dynasty.

Trevor Pryce appears to be a down to earth, funny dude. I'm sure he can help this defense being used correctly as well as bring it some more personality.

    ^ I just watched Pryce's press conference.

In my athletic history, there is one coach I loved playing for. I would have jumped in front of a bullet for him. The way I talk about this coach is what I heard in Pryce's voice during the PC.

He'll play until he's 55 if he could, as long as Rex is still coaching.
