Howard Green cut to make room. A mild surprise, but they say they may resign him next week

Not if the ravens have anything to say about it.

I agree, a revamping of the dline in particular is needed soon. I would expect the draft next year to go in that direction. It is getting old.

Don't see the Ravens needing Green as he was available for weeks before the Jets signed him.

Needed soon? More like long overdue. The good thing is that outside of DL and OLB we're pretty green. With a few solid early picks on DL/OLB and we'll be good for a while.

He agreed to a $2.5 million salary cut at the beginning of the year and then they did this.
I don't blame him for getting some of it back.

The funny thing is that some are saying he's old and washed up.

Funny, That is what was being said about JT.
Yet, He's tied for the team lead the team w/ 2 sacks...and he's playing w/ a fuked up arm @ that.

This just helps our rotation that much more...
Damn, am I the only one who thinks HG plays half decent?

    Now he'll sign w/ the RAVENS..lol

A fair point, to take a pay cut, then get cut. They got their just rewards I guess.

It's hard to believe that a top flight FO like the Ravens would be duped like this. By releasing Pryce, he was deemed expendable. Reading the Baltimore Sun forum, most of the Ravens fans on there seemed pretty bummed to be losing Pryce.

Anyone who brings up Tony Richardson should keep in mind that the Jets have a blue chip lead blocker waiting in the wings in the unlikely event that anyone takes a flyer on TRich when the Jets had cut him this offseason. He was considered expendable for most things outside his leadership.

Here come the JETS! Man Tanny is worth more than he's earning right now. Woody is a lucky dude...

Green is a great depth guy. He doesn't see a lot of time, but when he's in, he's effective. I'd like the Jets to resign him.

    Loving the Pryce signing, tho.

I'm surprised it was Green over Marcus Dixon.

Ravens fans are pissed about this.

It would be funny if the Ravens try to sign Green and he declines.

I think they want to get a long look at Turner.

Holmes comes in Clowney goes out.
