I was very confident, they needed 8 points, they hadn't scored a TD since early in the 3rd quarter and when they did mount drives they resulted in FG's Sure I was nervous but in my head was saying no way they score 8 points right here, not happening. I've lived through it to, I choose to look on the bright-side. If we all concentrated on the negative it'd be suicidal.
Well when we got the ball with over 6 minutes left in the game I said to myself it is time for MS to show to the nation how he is grown up by chewing up the clock & voila not only did he take time off the clock but produced a TD as well!
Yeah, I could see us going 5-1...or possibly 6-0 if Sanchez plays the way he has been and if we Green Bay plays like they did against Chicago.
Houston is a Semi-Dome team (They only open the roof when it's fair out..), coming to the NE at the End of November. Unless it's 60 and sunny and windless they get crushed. If it's cold, it'll probably be the first cold weather game they've played in a couple years. They got Seattle and NE at home last December.
And barring injury this team should be smoking come November. Holmes,Pace,Revis, Slauson far enough into the season to have the rough edges worked out. This team is good already. They should be scary good by then. Let's face it...they probably know we need to earn HFA throughout. No way the Dolts come here in January to win a road playoff game.
lmao, I am breaking one of my own rules looking ahead of next week, and you are talking playoffs?!? Playoffs, and against a specific opponent and where. That's pretty good. Heh, thanks for reminding me of my rule.
Context is key. Mrs. Smiths second grade English should have taught you that. The response was to someone positing that Houston was coming outside, to the NE at the end of Nov. and beating us. The expansion of that point was that to a man, the Jets have to know that getting HFA throughout s/b a motivating factor.... (Hence...'Lead the League in F***ng wins')
Mrs. Smith taught me that you should have put an apostrophe between the h and s when referencing her class, which btw is a word you really should have put in there. I was joking in my previous post, and you were talking playoffs. Part of taking care of business regarding the playoffs is playing the schedule one game at a time, but moving along here...
That particular drive spoke volumes about Marks progress. If he has another good game this weekend, Im gonna really be feeling confident about our offense.
All of this talk about being 8-2 after week 11, division winner, home field advantage, and Super Bowl is a bit premature. It's a long season. Let's focus on tearing the Bills apart instaed.
