If they cut anyone on the DL it's Dixon... he was brought here from the Cowboys PS and has always been inactive.

Kroul has always been active this season and will be kept also because of his versatility (DE/NT).

I wouldn't mind a Pryce/Ellis rotation to keep them both fresh... I wonder if maybe they released him because of lingering injuries... no idea but I'm sure we'll give him a look.

I'd be wary of picking up an older player who got cut during the season. We're doing alright along the DL so far. I'd rather hold on to a younger guy like Kroul over picking up Pryce.

Pryce has played too many games to qualify for the PS

He would add some nice depth to the DL rotation, Dixon should be cut and signed to the PS.

Checked out one Raven forum to see what they thought of him. Sounds like he is washed up.

we did lose 2 lineman already (pitotua and jenkins) and had to sign howard green and Kroul to replace them. with that said, turner will be cut when holmes comes back so we would have to look elsewhere to make a cut to fit in pryce at this point. Marcus dixon would most likely be the odd man out

That's good news, we wouldn't want a dirty player showing up for a workout.

maybe there is a pending suspension coming in for Pryce and the Ravens decided to cut bait first? Older player, might have felt the need to dabble in PEDs...

But if it was just one of those "cut for a week" deals, then he's not going anywhere. If it was a true release, it can't hurt to bring him in.

Of one thing we should all be sure... Rex surely know how good of a player Pryce is and how much he can contribute to the cause.

I already trust the CS an personnel decision... but on guys coming from the Ravens I trust them even more. If they don't think we need him then we don't, viceversa if he comes here he's an upgrade over what we have... it's that simple.

Pryce reduced his salary before the season to remain on the roster...so I'm surprised they let him go in the season. Terrance Cody has been inactive the first 3 weeks and is back healthy--Is Kruger back healthy as well? I think he may have just been the odd may out on a team stacked with talent on the DLine. I'd trust Rex and Tanny take a look...and if he has something to offer--he would be a big addition.

It sounds like Pryce has an arrangement with the Ravens where they will re-sign him shortly.. similar to what the Jets did with T-Rich I guess. Doubt he will be signing elsewhere, but who knows.

Well for what it's worth we did make a few moves today...Pryce not being one of them.

    This!

I think Trevor is not the same player at age 35. There is a reason why he hasn't played this year (unless he was injured).

I'd like for us to sign Pryce for this year, d-line depth never hurt and with the injuries to Jenkins and Ropati P. we don't have much depth along the line.

The main question is: Pryce > Gholston ?

    Dude you are > Gholston.
    My dog is > Gholston.

At least he isn't on milk cartons so far this year, but they do have his name and picture waiting.

But he can play DE AND OLB... try more like neither of them Rex... I think, with a 2.5 mill bonus in 2011, the Gholston experiment is officially over.
