on your 1st paragraph, it doesn't speak volumes to me, 1st game of the season against a division rival, that's always gonna be a tough game.

on your second paragraph...just look @ your statement in the 1st, both completeley wrong...DIVISION games are always a different animal.

There is no way the Fins will be 2-9 after week 11.

They will have only played 10 games by then. 2-8 though!

Our schedule is the easiest, we need to stand firm and beat the teams we are supposed to beat. To be honest, we could easily win through that entire stretch of games. Our toughest test is either GB or Houston. GB we have coming off the bye, so Pace, Revis, and Holmes will be back by then.

We also will have the bye to get holmes and Pace re-acclimated after being away so long. Having Revis will allow the Jets to force Rodgers to beat us with Jermicheal Finley. I really feel that Cro matches up well with Donald Driver, and Wilson should be able to handle James Jones that week especially with two weeks to prepare.

Houston is the other matchup, Revis should be fully healthy by then, and should be able to neutralize Andre Johnson. But these guys will really be the first dual-threat team we have faced this year. The team that is damn good running, and throwing the ball. Taking Andre out, will make them more run dominant, but can we stop Arian Foster? who knows, but being due for a loss is really why I decided they play less than inspired ball that week.

I wouldn't be so quick to assume that taking on the Bills (they ALWAYS give us a hard time), the Vikes coming off a bye & playing against Farve for the 1st time since he was here, & the Broncs (a west coast trip) are going to be easy. With this organization I learned long ago never to take ANY game lightly or as a given, that what this franchise is famous for unfortunately, blowing games in the most ridiculous fashion they should definitely win.

Yeah but that attitude needs to change, try being confident in our team it really is a nice feeling.

We aren't losing to the Bills. Bills suck as rush defense and Brady exposed their weakness by using the Patriots version of Keller.

Keller will have another big day and we will run all over them.

No but, i think those are games the Jets should win, and are very likely to all be favored in.

Denver is always tough at home. Imo the Jets are more likely to beat the Vikes in the Meadowlands than win in Denver.

The Pack game makes me worry, too. Good thing it's off the bye week.

Pats and Fish. This upcoming game should be very interesting. A win by NE, especially a convincing one, and some of the questions about them go away, and they then look to be the main competition in the division. Conversely a solid win by the fish and those worries in NE begin to multiply, with Miami regaining the momentum lost against the Jets.

Of course both teams could do well the next few weeks, or both poorly. But probably not.

Miami's schedule looked tough going in and still does. Their road is harder. Particularly if the Pats win Monday.

    Miami's last 4 are

    at NY
    Buffalo
    Detroit
    at NE

By then they will be too far gone and if not they Jets will put the nail in the coffin.

    We have
    Miami
    at Pittsburgh
    at Chicago
    Bills

By that time for us we will be rolling and clicking on all levels. Pittsburgh might be tough but Ben could mess the chemistry up their, the players already voted him not to be a captain when he returns.

I'm not buying into Chicago and Cutler yet, we just need to rattle is cage and he might literally cry.

After 3 games we do not have the PR to rattle any ones cage yet. Maybe Paces return will help matters in that regard as well as a healthy DR taking away 1 side of the field

Yeah, Broncos I could see a loss there and if we weren't coming off a bye, I would be skeptical of the Packers. I think we can get a W against them.

Yeah that was my point, by that time we should be what we were last year and then some.

Adding Pace and Revis is like signing 2 Pro Bowlers mid-season.

We'll beat the Pack IF our secondary's finally clicking. That's gonna be the biggest test of the year for Revis (100%) and company.

No doubt we can put up points on them though as long as we can keep Clay Matthews out of Mark's grill.

As I said it's a good thing the Jets come off the bye to play GB, but I should have also said I am not predicting a win as a result. Rodgers is playing great, their line was suspect before but looks solid, Woodson looks great and Matthews is also awesome. Tough team. I was surprised they lost to the Bears.

This is not a great year to have drawn the NFC North.

But... I am not convinced the Bears are that great, yet.

I like the bears. I think they will be a 10-6 team or maybe even 11-5. Beating the packers was big and Cutler is finally looking like hes matured and isnt throwing silly picks so far. Not to mention Urlacher is playing great and Peppers is one of the scariest pass rushers in the league.

That's what was said last year when we played the Bills & where did it get us, reality is reality & I live in the real world not some fantasy land where if I wish upon something it's going to happen, for the Jets to win they will have to play mistake free ball, no turnovers, very few penalties & capitalize on the Bills miscues, if not I GUARANTEE a loss.

The problem is there are so many that are so very aware of the NYJs record in games they are supposed to win thru the years that they wound up losing

Jets as favorites, that never bolds to well for them, I want them to win every single game from here on out, but these are the Jets & they are infamous for letting their fans down.
