He would be a huge addition at DE on a team that eeds depth. I know we don't NEED him, but that's one hell of a pick up in week 4 on an already dominant run D.

This is actually and interesting idea. But who do you cut? And why did the Ravens cut him?

I do believe we have roster space with Chauncey being gone.

I would sign Pryce before looking at a player with the talent level of a Marques Douglas.

    Patrick Turner.

He was on the practice squad so he didn't take up a roster spot.

Chauncey wasn't on the active roster, he doesn't open a space. Prob. Dixon would be cut if anyone.

I would not mind having Pryce on our team. Somewhat surprised the Ravens let him go.

    Who'd they sign?

Surely Turner goes to let Holmes back in, or are you thinking they cut Clowney again and go with 4 guys at receiver?

He led the team in sacks last season with 6.5. Hasn't played a snap this season though.

    Worth a look, I guess.

I thought the Ravens let Bart Scott walk so they could give Pryce money. This is really strange because Pryce is a great player. There is a lot of fat you can trim besides Turner who will be cut when Holmes comes back. Kroul, Dixon... not like these guys did anything to deserve being cut, but if you have a shot at Pryce, you take it and cut your losses with the youth.

an actual possibility, but I don't want to cut Kroul, I think he's quite good... and young... and cheap.

I would hold off on cutting Kroul too. I see him as a poor man's Mike DeVito who is becoming a poor man's Shaun Ellis as we speak. AKA, there's potential. But I could see the FO going after Pryce given the run we're trying to make.

The Ravens re-signed Ken Hamlin, who they released last Wednesday.

I think when they got Corey redding, that meant the end for pryce. Maybe he's just washed up

Speaking of DeVito, he is not on the Jets site roster or depth chart. Must be a error but kind of odd.

He's 35 and was just a part time starter last year. With our depth issues he might be worth a look but he's very unlikely to be any kind of impact player for us. He'd definitely be worth something if somebody else went down to an injury, but that's true of Marques Douglas also.

    Sign to PS and elevate...

Agreed. Keep Kroul. He's young and has a lot of upside. We need to start grooming younger players for the DLine. As much as I hope Ellis is with us a couple more years, he will need to be replaced at some point and I don't think Gholston, who's playing much better, is good enough.

I don't believe you can sign a 12 year veteran to the PS.
