Rams signed RB Chauncey Washington off the Jets' practice squad.

The Rams were already thin at running back before Steven Jackson's groin injury. Washington offers some insurance, and he's a valuable special teams player even if he doesn't see a snap on offense. Jackson's status for Week 4 is unclear at the moment.

Good for Chauncey! He played hard in the preseason and now he will get a chance to play. I wish him luck in St. Louis!

Running back is so thin if Greene or LT go down. Good luck to him though.

Damn, I was hoping he would stick on the PS in case of injury. Oh well.

Yeah, thats the problem now. No Woodhead or Washington leaves us with just Joe Not Ready for the Pro's McKnight.

Haha. Now she isn't such a bitch for baking that cake, just way too early. He'll have to give up that nice house, though.

An injury at RB to either LT or Greene (& injuries have happened to both players in the past) wouldnt be good at all. Woodhead is now in New England & Washington heads to St. Louis. I thought at least 1 of these guys (arguably both) deserved an active roster spot.

I hate Woodhead and McKnight so much.

Speaking of which, what's the situation with Shonn Greene?

I think they would sign Larry Johnson before giving McKnight any carries right now.

damn, too bad. It was comforting having him in our back pocket. Oh well, the kid deserved a shot to see what he could do in live reps

Shonn Greene is fine as shown by his post-game dance.

I found out that house Washington was in, is in a townhouse development across the street from where I work.

Apparently the Jets rent the homes there for the players.

I think they got themselves a quality RB in Washington. I'd rather we kept him than McKnight, to be honest.

I guess the Jets scouts have pretty good eyes for running backs.

Not having a legit 3rd running back with knowledge of the system on the roster, especially with LT being old and Greene being somewhat injury prone, seems like a big risk

Shitty, definitely would have liked to hold onto this Washington. Hoping Greene and Tomlinson stay healthy for us.

The scouts identify the talent, the coach and gm decide who to keep. Look at all the former Jets RB's around the league.

I'm not particularly happy we have McKnight instead of one of the other guys, but that's not on the scouts.
