I highly doubt that when BE went on his spree he hardly considered the consequences of what the after affects would be including your reason that the because of all the pub thru HKs etc his team was under a spot light. Actually BE like DR did not care 1 iota about the team it was all about himself
I understand the NFL want to be cleaner than clean in its image, but surely this is a police matter, nothing more until it goes to court. Until then IMO the NFL needs to butt out.
Please. He was on his own time. Sometimes I have gone all weekend not thinking about my work. I can go all Sunday without checking my Blackberry. I figure if there's a real emergency, i will get a call at the house. It has happened over the years, but rarely. So you would probably say I am all about myself on my free time and don't care about my job. Heh. I guess so if you want to look at it that way, but so what? It's my free time.

By doing that you are sending the message that if I'm at a party and my friend drives drunk that DUI should be punished by my employer.
I love how people connect being at the same party as Stallworth the night he hit someone to "being involved" with the incident. Edwards was not even in the car that night, he just hung out with Donte for a few drinks during that day, then Donte left, Edwards stayed.
Where was he when a cop in NY killed a pedestrian while drunk driving and all his cop friends covered up for him and took him down to the station, did not give him a breathalizer test until 7 hrs after the incident? Finally the guy admitted it but only after he realized that he would be taking down too many of his friends if he did not come clean. Where Was Vitale and all these self-righteous morons who are getting on Braylon Edwiards? Was BE wrong? Yes!!! Let it play out in the legal system and he will receive appropriate punishment.
I watched Mike n Mike this morning and Vitale's rant was absolutely disgusting......I understand BE was wrong in what he did and I understand the anger........ but the way he went about it was ridiculous. He was very offensive. He failed to mention that Ronnie Brown and Jason Allen received DUI's and they never sat for even a down. He just sounded like an angry and ignorant moron. It was hard to watch.....
