    Actually, it just ended.

I never thought Taylor could sound classy and respectable, but he was in this interview.

For me, the most memorable part came at the end when he discussed how much the players really love Rex.

    Anyone else catch this?

(I'm looking for a podcast or recording of the intvw to post)

Actually Taylor has always been classy and respectful....to every one but us.

Yeah I heard it said he'd run through a wall for Rex. Our biggest enemy ever will run through a wall for Rex after six months.

    Rex is a fuckin Jedi.

Yeah, I had no idea; I guess because I never really bothered to listen to him other than if it involved the Jets.

TMKS commenting on the players' adoration for Rex right now.

Dolphins fan just called in saying that "all bets were off" when Taylor got the sack and "rubbed it in the fans' faces" by celebrating. Haha.

Jason taylor did the same sack dance he has done since he was in miami.
He makes an imaginary circle and punches threw it.

This caller was then asked how this was any different than him dancing when he played for the Dolphins. The caller fumbled his words and couldn't answer it. He said "because that was in Miami". Moron.

I heard that guy too. What a dumbass. I don't think any of us begrudged Chad his celebration when the Dolphins won the AFC East in our stadium.

I heard the interview and could hear the genuine joy of being a Jet come through. I haave to say when we first signed him and I listened to him talk it didn't sound to me like he really wanted to be here but now I think he's really bought in and loves being a Jet.

Yeah he sounded genuine to me too. Like I said, I've never heard him in interviews (other than hostile toned ones involving the Jets/fans), so I don't know what he 'normally' sounds like in them. But hearing this interview, I got the feeling he was genuine.

Rex will be interviewed in a few.

Can one of the Mods change the thread title so that it includes Rex's interview too, instead of creating a new thread for it?

*edit* not quite a few, rather, in 20 minutes -- Rex on at 5:20.
