lets treat the Jills like a 1 night stand. bang them hard and get out without anyone getting hurt. pace plays to get his stamina and sense of gameplay back revis sits. holmes and revis back for the vikings
Shonn Greene breaks out with a big game this week, I hope anyway 23 Rushes for 110 and 2 TDs, let's go Greene Machine!
This, if Pace can get back and work into the rotation this week, and then be fully ready to roll against the Vikings in a couple weeks. Revis isnt needed to lock down the on Lee Evans, cro should be able to handle him and if they can't stop him that way, they could triple him, and let Wilson play solo on Steve Johnson, and then stuff the run, and buffalo will implode
Typical game we would lose in the past. I think we are going to see if our boys are really focused. This game is as much a measuring stick as the the last 2. To be a contender you have to win these type of games.
^ What he said. The fact that Revis didn't even make the trip to Maiami tells me he needs another week. Don't push it. Hamstring is a bitch. And let Pace get a week better also. We SHOULD be able to handle the Bills with the team we fielded last night, but every year I say that and every year they ambush the shit out of us.
Okay, that was a great win last night. Now time to focus on the Bills. Not sure why it happens, but we always find a way to struggle against them. Let's hope we come prepared. I'd love to see a rout.
I think we win this game but it won't be due to the bills not playing hard or shooting themselves in the foot. Their offense looks actually like an offense again once they booted edwards. Granted, the pats d is going to be a below average defense the rest of the year, but compared to what they did it was an upgrade. I think they'll play well even given the discrepancy in talent. I think we win based on the fact we just play extremely well. 11 point victory 21-10. should we sit revis for this one? Hmm....I think so, but i'm actually more nervous about this game than i was the pats or the dolphins. I had no doubt the jets were going to win both games 100%. I feel like buffalo has nothing to lose and the jets of old lose this type of game. However, that said, these are not the jets of old
I can't see any reason to play Revis this week. Then they'll have 8 days until MNF to shut down old man Favre. If they can't beat the Bills w/o Revis, they have bigger issues.
wow, just rewatched the highlights of the pats/bills game on NFL network. what a lack of a pass rush and they're also awful at getting off blocks. that defense looks terrible. spiller looks good and fitzpatrick made some good throws.
I cant see them stopping our running game and with our upgraded passing attack I can see us dropping another 30+points on the bills. Phins D is much better then theres and we dropped 31 on them on the road. Im thinking Jets 34 Bills 13
jets 27 - bills 13. sit revis. see how pace feels but dont rush him AT ALL. the only reason i say see how pace feels is bc if hes good to go, then it would be a good tune-up game for him. we can play him sparingly but get him up to game speed since we dont really need him against the bills. this, i think, would help him greatly in being ready for the vikings.
Barring a collapse, we should win this game by 20+. Also, I will make it my mission to create the Jets vs Viking discussion thread before soxxx.
Yeah...that's what you want to do. Throw in a guy that still has fumblitis in a game that you MUST win.....
This game scares me more than both the Pats and Phins game. This is the week after a huge win, the jets historically play down to the competition, keep the home crowd in the game..and lose a sleeper late on some bonehead turnover or penalty. I know Rex is different kind of coach..and this team has a ton of talent...but this will be the biggest test of the season thus far. If "SOJ" is truly dead, the Jets win this won by at least 10 points.
you and I are on the exact same frame of thinking however, as nervous as I am, i still think we win this. Don't agree with everyone else dismissing the bills like they're nothing though. they're going to be a helluva lot more confident after almost going into foxboro and stealing one than they were getting pummeled by the packers and losing to the dolphins. that team is 100% going to play with a chip on their shoulder. they don't want to be the rams or lions of the past couple of years. it doesn't mean they'll win, but they'll have a couple of games where they shouldn't be in it and will you treat this game like a playoff game (with the exception of rushing back injuries)
Bills cut ties with veteran QB Edwards after four seasons http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...wards-after-four-seasons?module=breaking_news
We should get him. He's way better than any QB out of USC. P.S....time to dial it up Big Time, and get Brohm on the field.
