Jets sign Edwards on Monday. Jets break Fitzpatrick's legs on Sunday. Jets trade Edwards back to Bills for a first round pick next Monday.
They probably have the worst offensive line in the league. They fucked up this year not going offensive lineman. As good as Spiller can be, I didn't understand how they could just ignore their offensive line when it's been SO terrible.
A few more games like yesterday's and Cowher will have the Giants job sewn up. I thought about making a post now about Edwards being better than every USC quarterback, and Chan Gailey being an offensive genius who makes every quarterback better, but at this point it's like taking candy from a baby, so I'll resist. Or not.
I'd prefer him over Clemens as a backup for the future... for now we can pick him up to take Turner's place for a week... then we'll see. It would be amazing if we could somehow trade Clemens to the Jaguars for a low round pick...
PS Let's all remember with what kind of O-line and what kind of WRs Edwards has played with... Bills OL is the worst pass protecting unit in the NFL.

Something that made angry and kind of embarrassed for NFL.com was when Sanchez was a prospect in the draft their website said he compared best to Trent Edwards. I couldn't believe that was up there.
