Add Revis and Pace and we dominate, pure and simple. We would've left the 1st half 17-21, 0 with them. Wilson defends much better out of the slot at the moment. Thank God we have the Bills next week. I'm happy the PhinsPhags will shutup now about their' "D". lol
Great to get the win ... but WTF is Rex doing??? How the hell do you not go for 2 at the end of that game? VERY stupid call that almost cost us the game. This is just another example of Rex acting more like a D-coordinator instead of a head coach. Look ... I know what the posted odds are for 2-point conversions ... but I can also see what's going on in the effin' game. Our D was totally gassed and getting shreaded. Meanwhile our O was playing great all nite and just finished an 80 yard drive. Can we give them a chance to put the goddamn game out of reach by giving us a 9 pt lead??? Why leave the game in the hands of the unit that sucks tonite, instead of the unit that's playing great?? It made no sense to me ... and even if you fail they STILL need a TD to send the game into overtime. Honestly ... is there anyone out there who really felt confident that we were going to stop them from scoring on that drive? We were fortunate to escape ... but just a terrible call IMHO.
i see what you are saying but even as a Dolphins fan, I woulda went with what Rex did if my team were in that situation.
are you fucking kidding me? You go for the PAT because it makes the lead 8 points. Do you really want 7 points or 8 point lead. That means they need to score a TD and then go for 2. Its not that easy and you have to trust your defense
No I'm not kidding. The defense sucked tonite. Let me ask you this about your 8 point lead instead of a 7 point lead ... Let's say the Dolphins actually went 75 yards with 1:42 to play to score a TD (which they just missed by a whisker) ... Do you really believe we would have defended a 2 point play at that point??? What it comes down to was this ... would you rather take your chances trying a 2-pointer WITH VERY LITTLE DOWNSIDE to end the game right there... or try to defend a 2-pointer after you just gave up a 75 yard drive withh an exhausted defense on the field? To me its a no-brainer. We won the game and I'm glad, but still the wrong decision.
If you're honesly telling me you had more confidence in the defense tonite than you had in the offense ... then you slept through the whole game ... or You're the idiot. Did you happen to notice the Dolphins racking up about 450 yards of offense???
Yes I do...and that 75 yard drive happened a while back. We had the ball for 4:50 when sanchez took the team down and LT scored the TD
