We now face the very real possibility of being 3-1 with Pace, Revis, and Holmes returning to the roster. Yikes:breakdance::breakdance::breakdance:
I let Pace and Revis sit out next week as well if I'm on the Jets staff. No reason to risk it, because if we can not beat the Bills with the current line up we don't deserve a win. Things are looking up as we are 2-1 and the Middle of the schedule gets softer.
Revis I agree with. If Pace is good to go let him play. He has a screw in the bone he broke so it isn't breaking again.
Yeah I'm not taking a Bills win for granted. We never really destroy them, and usually beat ourselves when playing them.
Yeah let's not take Fitzpatrick's squirrly ass lightly. Revis should sit and we should pound the damn ball down their throat. If Mark had 10 attempts the whole damn game I'd be happy. Not paranoid about last year, but we shouldn't be stupid about this. And they won't be. Rex's message will be "We win this we are 3-0 in the division". And it will be heard.
The reason Buffalo had success is because the Pats defense is soft, they're probably a 15-20 range in the D. We are in the top 5. The Jills won't nearly have the success they had today. That being said nothing is written in stone and it is a division game but I would expect the Jets to come away from that one 3-1.
I'm never going to completely get over the game where we rushed for 300+ yards against the Bills and lost. That's like just such a completely ridiculous combination of events that it seems like anything could happen any time they meet, including having an asteroid land at the 50 at halftime and destroy all life on earth.
Let's be honest, that's what happened in game 1, and when things were going poorly tonight. This team is it's own worst enemy at times. Let's take care of dumb penalties and protect the ball, and we should be fine.
I Agree with that, The bills are dog shit let the guys rest an extra week and get them ready for the Vikes.
This. If Marshawn Lynch is a FA in your fantasy league, pick him up and start him. If the Bills only get one win this year, it'll be against the Jets. Hopefully Pace and Revis are both safe to return against the Bills. Obviously it's better to rest them than risk a setback, but you'd like to get them back into game mode against an easier opponent than the Vikings. Not that the Vikings look particularly great, but they've got plenty of talent, and I'd hate to have them start looking great against us.
Saying the Bills are a given win feels like jinxing it. I think we'll win...hell, we should win easy, but historically, we shit the bed in these games. Let's put an end to SOJ and run them out of the building early next week.
I don;t think its a given, but thier weakneses match up against what we want to do very well. Could we blow it? Sure, jsut look at last season. Then again last Season Sanchez had to throw 5 picks to blow a game against the Bills and I don;t see him doign that again any time soon.
This Also, even if we weren't playing Buffalo next week, the only logical thing to do is to rest Revis until he is completely 100% healthy. He is simply too valuable to our longterm success this season to be rushing him back to play the 4th game of the season as opposed to the 5th or 6th. As for Pace, it would really be great to get him playing time ASAP to take some of the load off of Jason Taylor who is already a little banged up.
