2010 Mike Fatcesa Thread (Jets related only) Admits he is anti-Jets on 8/10/10

I didn't find that to be the case at all.

I thought he was quite pro-Jets tonight.

I swear too many people here take the slightest little comment and run with it and write that Francesa is killing the Jets.

 

It's a different audience. He's much more sensible on Mike'd Up.

 

he was reasonable tonight, even about the Giants. he said there were questionable penalties on both sides, which i think is fair.

 

guys, some of you are absolutely ridiculous. There was nothing at all wrong with his comments on teh Jets. He was pretty much spot on in summarizing the game.

 

Yeah I know and he did give the Jets props on this show (he kinda has to) but after he said Sanchez and Keller played well he immediately went to showing highlights of the defense getting ripped. Maybe that is grasping at straws but I don't care about his opinions I just think it's funny.

 

the defense was awful tonight. the dolphins did nothing on offense the first two games and they couldnt even run tonight and they were still moving the ball at will.

 

To be fair, I was not watching it the whole time. (I'm not into the whole looking at Francesa thing.) I certainly listened to everything he said, though. I didn't find him to be unfair.
If he showed the Dolphins TDs, but not the Jets ones that would be weird. I did see that he showed at least the Edwards TD.

 

Yeah, but he's making a point about how awful our defense is without Revis. Our defense kept them in the game.

lol nah he expressed serious concern about the giants, said they don't deserve to be on prime time next sunday

 

Much like tonight, those fish don't even stand a chance.

 

The next two weeks will feature teams that are going to get ripped by Michaels and Collinsworth. Giants next week and then the 49ers the following week. The 49ers play at Atlanta next week and then they will be on Sunday night football vs the Eagles.
After that the NBC package will be good-
10/17- Colts-Redskins
10/24- Vikings-Packers
10/31- Steelers-Saints
11/7- Cowboys-Packers
11/14- Patriots-Steelers

Starting with 11/21 the Sunday night schedule is subject to change.

 

I Caught 5 minutes of fat boy before i switched to SNY i loved seeing him swallow his fat words and you can tell he was jealous and angry. Probably downed 2 diet cokes during break.

^^^^ Gotta go with this. I've bashed Francesa along with many others here, but to be fair, last night he did say "big win for the Jets" while ridiculing the Giants and THEIR lack of discipline. For what it's worth, I found it curious that the show didn't have one Jet and one Giant decorating the set; that both jerseys were Jets.

 

I'm home today from work and can't wait to listen.

once Jets callers, call in and slam the Giants...it will get him going

 

Mike needs his Jet hate like a junkie needs a fix. He'll return to form this week.
