regardless of the opponent, there is no reason why he should play if he is injured or not fully recovered. you send him out there w/a damaged hammy and he will just tear it up and then be useless for 6 weeks. i would hope that they will be very conservative w/him. 2 weeks would seem to be an absolute minimum.

I'd be shocked if VJ goes anywhere at all. A team would have to give up far too much for him. Compensating the team and then VJ.

But the Vikings are desperate and Brett Favre really looks like shit out there...Right now they are probably going to give up the picks

I'm hearing a 2nd and possibly late pick with 5 million compensation for the remainder of the season.

Do you have a link? I haven't heard that but I haven't been following that closely.

Not really. My Foxsports fantasy tracker gives me news/notes on him so I've been following that. Basically what I can tell you is:

Rams, Vikings, and Patriots interested. In order of interest - 1. vikings, 2. pats, 3. rams. The Rams aren't looking to spend a lot of money for a one-year lease and think that the draft compensation isn't worth it. Maybe for a 3rd rounder they would but not a 2nd. The Patriots are shopping him and can easily part with draft picks in 2011 and 2012. If memory serves me right they have two 2nd rounders and a bunch of high-round draft picks that are expendable. The Chargers may decline the trade though since it's an AFC team and recent rival. Which brings us the Vikings:

After Sunday's loss to the Dolphins Childress and management are looking to upgrade the receiving core with Harvin's hip injury and Rice being out as well. Favre's dismal performance hasn't helped either. Again, likely a 2nd rounder and maybe a 6th or so with ~5/6 million compensation for the season (weeks 5-16 and playoffs if applicable). After that he's a free agent. Take the above with a grain of salt though because it may be unfounded rumors and posturing from all sides.

keep him on the bench next week, our secondary was shaky but held it together against a pretty dangerous team... i don't really foresee an anemic bills passing game doing much next week with or without the island on the field

If he's healthy enough to play next week, he should play.

If he's not 100% next week, he should sit. No reason to rush it.

    yep.

    If he's 95%. Don't play him.

Maybe dress him for the game... but don't play him unless two people go down.

We don't need him next week.

If we can't beat the Bills without Revis, then what the fuck?
