the jets have more major injuries then any team right now. no pace, no jenks, no revis. 3 key members of our defense. also no holmes on offense. I can't understand why the giants are so high on phillips other then he was a 1st round pick. his rookie season he barely played. his 2nd year he blew out his knee by week 4 and now he is in his 3rd year. what has he done to be talked of so highly. i'll take leonhard over him any day. he complains ryan lost control over the jets over a reporter incident and a stupid dui yet the giants had 5 personal foul dead ball penalties today (2 on mckenzie, 1 on jacobs, 1 on rolle, and 1 on diel) thats lsogin control of your team. also coughlin risked injuies by letting manning sling the ball with 1 minute left down by 19 to boost his stats. at that point run the ball and end the game. also the giants blamed injuries on defense for their "collapse" yet now at full strength 3 games in they have allowed the most points of any teams in the NFL and they played 2 poor offenses (tenn and carolina) and an indy team that laid off afer they had the game sealed. the gianst are heading for a 6 win season and don't have any excuses, but they'll make soemthign up. their caught in a bad situation. they aren't bad enough to be rebulidng but aren't good enough to be contending. their stuck in medicrity living off a SB victory 3 years ago. they got off to a good start last year due to a stupidly easy schedule but they haven't been a good team since they won the SB. the whole NFC is horrible now. If your doing a top 10 7 teams will be afc compared to 3 nfc jets, pats, indy, balt, pitt, hou, all can challenge for a SB and mia isn't too shabby. the nfc has GB, NO, and ATL and thats it.
