Fresno's banged up, Rebel Mike. We're playing without our two starting receivers, our best offensive line, and our starting strong safety. If some young guys don't step up, the Dogs might find some trouble in Oxford. ...man, I wish was there. I planned on going to this game for a long time, but things just didn't go as planned. Hopefully we'll see a good game tonight.
I just noticed that as I'm watching several games at once. It's most likely because Nippert Stadium only holds about 35,000 and Paul Brown is at least twice the size.
Boise State all over Oregon State early. consecutive sacks, the first resulting in a fumble, recovered by the offense
^small complaint about that I know the game started a little after 8 p.m. our time. I was just watching the Okla-Cinc game and then read your post here. I switched over to ABC figuring the score was 14-0 in favor of Boise State. I see it is scoreless. One team being "all over" another always makes me think that the one team has a good lead over the other.
Western Kentucky 0 South Florida 7 halftime I like that because I took WKU and the 27.5 points. In other news, if you took Austin Peay and 66 points you lost. Wisconsin beat them 70-3.
punt return TD for Oregon State (James Rodgers) XP to tie game started about 8:15 PM EDT. They delay the national TV games.
South Carolina looks real solid. Ace Sanders made an awesome move on a bubble screen in the early part of the 2 Qtr. Sanders looks like a very exciting young player, nice to see a freshman doing well. Lattimore gets all the pub, which he deserves, but Maddox is solid. Maddox seems to have great hands out of the backfield. Auburn fans must be pissed Lattimore went to SC. Dyer is a good player, but Lattimore is on another level.
Was that in response to what I wrote earlier? When I wrote, "I know the game started a little after 8 p.m. our time", I felt that I indicated the game did not start at 8:00 on the dot. When you wrote that one team was "all over" the other I assumed there were quickly two scores in the game. So for about 10 seconds before I flipped over to ABC, your post led me to believe Boise State got out to a quick lead just like New York over Minnesota in the 2000 NFC title game.
South Carolina, I think has to be the favorite to come out of the SEC east. They have looked great in every game they have played so far. And if Latttimore can stay healthy and continues to play like this, they have a real good shot to take down Bama in the championship game.
I'm glad the Gamecocks are playing well so far tonight, because Fresno is fucking things up against Ole Miss. It looks like Jeremiah Masoli has finally figured out how to run Houston Nutt's offense - he's having a damn good game against the Bulldogs. Jerrell Powe is a beast. If the Jets decide to go defensive line in round one, he should be considered.
