Prediction: If we win the "Phins fans check into eat crow" thread will be five posts long (and you know who you are), after the rest of the 25 post trolls slink away never to be heard from again.
Sorry if someone else posted this, but I only read through the past 2 pages or so.. Here's what I predict for the Dolphins:
Let's be real ... Cromartie is not even on the same planet as Revis... Very few corners have ever been. We'll give Cromartie help on Marshall. He'll catch a few passes but I seriously doubt he'll break the game open against us. While we're doubling Marshall, who's gonna be making us pay? ... Welker?? ... oh wait, he's on a different team ... and I'm not really shaking over Bess and Hartline. The last time I checked, there are 31 other teams that don't have Revis. Buffalo doesn't have Revis ... niether does Minnesota. How'd Marshall and the Dolphin offense do against them?? The Pats have a far better offense than Miami, and we shut them out in the second half without Revis. I'm not predicting a shutout, but our Defense is solid, and the Fish have a mediocre offense that won't be able to score enough points to beat us. As I said before ... Jets 26 - Dolphins 16.
The Fins have a pretty loose definition of shut down when it comes to the vikings, I mean they did allow 364 yards of total offense to the Vikings and were only saved by a very erratic performance from Farve.
I never said Cromartie is anywhere near Revis' talent. I said he had a shutdown performance against Moss. And yes, I do predict Cromartie will get safety help while Kyle may be on his own island for several plays, just like he did against the Patriots. Marshall for 18 catches? Yeah, maybe in his next four games combined against the Jets. Like u said, Marshall didn't do much against other teams that don't have talent to match Revis'. And Bess is hardly someone any OC gameplans accordingly.
If you could kick an extra point without a TD I'd put it 2-1. Since you can't, I expect these two vaunted offenses to produce 5 points. 3-2 Miami.:breakdance:
JT to have an outstanding game with 3 sacks, 1 FF leading to a TD. I have a feeling that come gametime and with the crowd, hes going to give the Phins organisation a reminder. Beware returning players.
if that were to happen, i could not imagine the uproar it would cause ... I'm not gonna lie, taking a sack is never a good thing, but it's gonna hurt a little more and be an extra bit of electricity to the Jet's sideline if JT is that one that does it
That is a good point. If Jason Taylor is making plays the Miami crowd is going to completely lose it, and the Jets players/sideline is going to freak out.
Season: Taylor--6 tackes, 4 asst, 1sack, 1 forced fumble Favre--1 TD's, 4 interception Taylor is producing, Favre, not so much
