All he had to say was "no comment" or something of that nature.

The whole quote was something along the lines of "if a guy is dressed and you need him, you should start him, it really doesn't make sense."

Totally from memory (not an exact quote), heard it during the sports segment on headline news while I was getting ready this morning.

Kris Jenkins tells NY Times that he will have surgery for torn left ACL & meniscus next Wednesday. Comeback possible. #nfl #jets #nyj

Could Big Jenks make a return?

I'm confident he can make a return, I just don't know if he wants to go through the rehab again.

Does it even matter? The Jets will never be able to trust that he will be around for a full season. I would also imagine that he would have to take a massive pay-cut to stay with the team since he has proven to be an unreliable luxury the last two years.

Especially if he wobbled off the field a little. Staggering is a clear sign that he's ready to go back in.

I don't know if I want to get THAT excited if Cromartie has 10 interceptions in practice...

I agree with him. Edwards got here on the cheap because he was a headache. Discipline didn't get him anywhere under Mangini, except for out the door.
