Wow Patrick Turner is activated. Before the game, he should get a few coaches and players to show him around the field. Other than the coin toss that is the only way he is going to see it.
I agree witht his but it's still weird, since Turner has no ST value. It feels like he did this JUST to make him captain, but he obviously didn't. That would be kind of stupid....
You're right. That fell out of my head. Good pick up. Its gotta be a gamesmanship captain thing. You don't have this kid on the PS, waiting for the Miami game if he's a good player just because its a revenge thing. He's last on the WR chart. If the Jets go 5 wide, then he'll see the field.... or if someone goes down and they go 4 wide.
I think this has to do with Smith being injured, Braylon's PT being undetermined, no trust in Clowney.. and maybe he's a very good blocking receiver? I really don't know much at all about him?
If this guy is made a captain, then you guys are worse off than I thought. Pat Turner won't even be used come Sunday night. Cotchery, Keller and Edwards are much better receivers. Get real
I guess yeah but it's not like you expect a backup QB to play STs. A 5th string WR should be a good STer.
From what I know, i have just read about him because he appeared in 1 or 2 games for the dolphins, and for maybe 2 plays ... he's got tremendous hands and the ideal prototype receiver body, but is somewhat slow, has trouble getting of the line on a route, can't beat press coverage, and runs poor routes. I don't know much about him as a blocker
Him being captain doesn't mean he will play. Minus 1 drive, we will have the same receiving corps of last game that allowed Sanchez to put up 3 TD's. (Still without Santonio Holmes)
Huh, he isn't being made a Capt. for the game because of his skill. If it was for skill, he would be serving beers by escalator D. Since the Fins wasted a 3rd on him, they have his vendor rights.
Who gives a shit who the captain is anymore? It could be Buttfuck McGee for all I care. By the way, I'd buy a Buttfuck McGee jersey if he existed.
i hope he is still rounding off his routes like he did all his pro career, there will be some INT´s thrown just because of his lazy route running
Good luck with this guy. He was like the backup quarterback, the most popular guy in town, when he was with us. Fans thought that we had some magic waiting in the wings, but the guy could never get on the field.
I don't know if I'd want to show up at the stadium around a bunch of drunk guys with "Buttfuck" written on my back. Especially in Miami. Good point about the McGee part. Maybe if it has the whole name on the back.
