SO if a employee at your office got a DUI you would want him out for a week or so with no pay? Just in a general office setting, if one of our A/P people got a DUI no one would care as long as he/she gets their ass to work on time.
I don't think Rex likes Braylon that much. I don't know how much that will factor in, but somehow, I get the feeling he won't see a ton of snaps now, and once Holmes gets here, he could be the forgotten man.
Dolphin fans were nowhere to be seen for 5+ years, now all of a sudden you infect this place like a bad case of herpes. All they do is yap nonsense and touch yourselves when the Jets lose. God, I would kill to see any of them have a sense of humor and/or post something intelligent. Many of them do not even care if they make the playoffs or not...... unreal. BTW before any of the trolls attack my post, I meet Fin fans all the time that only care about 2 games on their schedule. Care to guess which two?
According to Yahoo. The Jets cannot suspend Edwards or activate him and sit him. "The Jets had few options in terms of discipline due to the rules of the collective bargaining agreement. Any punishment they would dole out other than what the NFL eventually decides, would violate the CBA. That means the Jets could not suspend or deactivate him without risking a violation. Keeping him active and not playing him could also be perceived as punishment, also a violation." http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AogWkrWh5YyMT2AUetWvFJ45nYcB?slug=ap-jets-edwards-dolphins

After reading that article it's pretty clear that this will be Braylon's last season in a Jets uniform. If they have a franchise tag in 2011 I would use it on Holmes. He's way to risky to give a large contract too.
Well that's just stupid. If you can bench a player for fumbling the ball (see Greene week 1), why can't you bench him for other "disciplinary reasons?"
I'm sure they will keep him out until the Jets fall behind. If they never fall behind then they can say they benched him for one game.
Braylon Edwards in my opinion should be benched. He put his own selfish needs before the Jets. The team comes first! My first post here! Happy to be on board !
if they reallllly wanted to bench him for the dwi, I'm sure they could come up with some random arbitrary reason to do so that couldn't be proven otherwise by this rule.
Hahaha I remember..... I was trying to show you an action that yields better results than arguing with Champ. Trust me after a few rounds with him, you would have thanked me for the advice......
He won't get the sacred and ever important "callout" that all starters do when NBC showcases the offense/defenses of each team. David Clowney instead very well could. I mean can you imagine his intro. "David Clowney.............................. *5 second pause* At-lan-teek Community"
And your first post is contradictory. You say bench him because he put himself before the team but benching continues doing the exact same thing.
