The fact that Brick was in the car is 100% irrelevant. he was drunk, but not driving. He didn't break any laws.
It's only relevant from an uninformed moron PR standpoint. You know, like the whole Ines Sainz business.
It took the justice system 3 years to put Lindsay away for 2 weeks. The lawyers will appeal this until the sky turns pink, he won't miss any game time due to a jail sentence, which if he even has 1, will be extremly short. Yes, he fucked up. No, he won't miss any time because of jail. He won't be suspended by the league, either. He wasn't in the substance abuse program, which states that first time violation is enrollment, NOT suspension.
No one cares what you or your "source" have to say. And what difference does it make who's in the car? It could be Sanchez for all I care. People do go out and drink from time to time, you know.
It's far from irrelevant. He should have stepped up, taken the keys and prevented it from happening. Instead, there are at least 2 irresponsible adults (mayne more if there were more in the car). He didn't break any laws, but he could have stopped Edwards from breaking the law.
Wow. I really wish people would just get off their high horses already with this anti-Braylon nonsense.
Does moderately shitfaced sound better? Besides, I believe it's a percentage reading, meaning, someone who is larger has to drink more to get to .16. He's really stupid, at any rate.
he didnt do anything wrong but the fact that two of our players were out drinking at 5 am is saying something... for all we know the flipped a coin over who would drive and braylon got unlucky... it should read Braylon Edwards arrested for DWI (D'Brick also in car)
Damn it, if the Jets don't bench both of these guys for at least 3 full seasons, I'm done with this team.
Honestly, it's rediculous. We have a bunch of innocent angels on this board who have never broken the law. I'm waiting to see VickBlows weigh in on this and lay down a fable about how he drank 3 kegs of booze, drove him standing up on his motorcycle, was in a high speed, 5 state polic chase before he lost them in a corn field. And then woke up the next day and ran a 10k in 25 minutes, still drunk.
He should be a man and take responsibility. I don't let my friends get in a car hammered and drive, and they don't let me. He's not as guilty, but he is guilty. Both of them made stupid, irresponsible decisions.
5 am on an offday. if you havent done that, i'm sorry you live a sheltered live. It should read, "Braylon Edwards Arrested for DWI".
