Pouha will be 31 in February we need Dline depth, we are loaded at WR.

We get Braylon cheap now and keep Cotch, Keller, Smith, and if we're lucky Holmes to.

    Not a union worker.

Tell that to our in house counsel. These fuckers are ass raping my company and it is getting out of control. We are spending tons of $$ on these labor issues.

I have been to Cali four times for declarations and mediation and because the labor board is tax-payer funded; they continue to press for reinstatement and $$$$. We are paying $$ for our lawyers and they're sitting pretty..

At this point we are viewing the Labor Board as extortionists that we as tax payers support.

We are not a union shop and never will be, my CEO's decision, not mine.

    I have never been busted - I'm not a dumb F*** who doesn't get a ride when I'm drunk.
I also wear condoms. It's amazing how those two simple c's - cabs and condoms, could prevent many problems.

No one is rationalizing drunk driving. You've misread.

And Mr. MADD, feel free to lobby for even tougher laws, but that is not the law now.

And talk about assholes and douchebags...

I'm getting sick of all the holier than thou crap here.

No one could make the phone call 20 minutes before they were leaving? It's not like they had chicks in the car and had to leave quick before the girls changed their minds.

PS - they need to add party to to the list

    On the money. I agree.

SOme here seem to think the only decision is between suspending him and doing nothing. We have the example of a Pats fan here in effect arguing that, too.

There are other measures to take. I hope the Jet FO does not pussy out to the alarmists and extremists.

I got a DWAI after 1 pitcher of beer, I felt completely fine.

I was 21 and it BS, I got pulled over a month prior to that with a beer in my lap, I fell out of the car, tripped when walking the line and the office said get home safely.

Wow..one more time THE JETS CAN'T SUSPEND HIM. They can't. it is not in their power to suspend him. It is against the deal the union and league negotiated. They can fine him. The league can suspend him for four games IF this is a second offense. We don't know because that is confidential information.

LOL WUT. Don, the Steelers sat Santonio Holmes for a game after his weed incident in 2008. It may not have been an 'official league suspension' per se, but loss of playing time is loss of playing time. Was there another deal negotiated between then and now?

WUT..this WUT..Holmes agreed to be sat. The Steelers could not do it without his permission. Period. The union would have stepped in if he didn't agree. One more time. THE JETS CAN'T SUSPEND HIM.

Stop making excuses for Braylon. The guy is a professional athlete who makes millions of dollars for his physical ability, and driving a car at 5:15AM blowing a 0.16 is not protecting the Jets investment. Its just f'n stupid. Just because some of you idiots out there would put your worthless lives on the line (not to mention the other drivers' lives) doesn't mean Braylon wasn't incredibly stupid and irresponsible.

Drinking and driving is something that should never happen. Its so easy to avoid. Especially for a f'n millionaire whose team offers a service for this. He doesn't deserve to touch the field in green and white again, but of course he will. Because in this league, point blank, winning is the top priority. Say hello to Holmes's extension though if he can clean his act up.

And many states look like they are following suit. Makes me want to spool up Reefer Madness just to remember that it's so evil.

They certainly CAN, the NFLPA would fight it, which I hope is their plan and the suspension ends up falling next week.

What makes you think that Braylon won't agree if they ask him?
