    Braylon Edwards can take a dump on a cops face for all I care as long as he doesnt get suspended. This is the NFL not the boy scouts. Ray Lewis is a murderer, get over petty crimes.

    So from what I have read:

    A guy who got into a fight with a dude, and got a DWI charge.

    Is worse then:

    A guy who threw a glass at a girl and has 1 more strike before he is banned a year for substance abuse.

    That's not what I meant. I wasn't saying it in relation to the SAP. I was talking about the Personal Conduct Policy, which is what he used to justify Roethlisberger's suspension.

    Edwards was arrested for an alcohol-related charge. He does not necessarily have a substance abuse problem... all I'm saying is that Goodell could, under the conduct policy, take Edwards' history into account (this arrest, and the previous one in Cleveland) and slap him with a suspension for it. And Sheriff Goodell may see this as a chance to reel in what's been a kind of wild team and be a tough guy.

    I'm not saying it SHOULD happen. I'm just saying that if I was a NYJ fan, I'd expect it to at some point.

    Adam Schefter and Glauber have already stated no league punishment will come into play here. Only from the Jets or the Cleveland legal system.

    They are 2 totally different circumstances, by rule with a players first DUI the league has no input at all.

    He shouldn't be suspended, but if the are going to get him for one game, make it the Buffalo game.
