It's interesting to know that even Green is having problems. That just shouldn't be, you would think. But in general, it seems like half these parking/traffic problems (in all lots) are at least partially the result of an overzealous policy. And they are probably easily correctable, most of them. Too many barracades. Too many Parking Monkeys giving misinformation, no information or flat out "following orders" that have been laid out by someone who hasn't actually tried navigating the parking areas himself!

A lot of it is correctable, including the most egregious problem of all, not having the designated lots "surround" the stadium for ease of all STHer, whether they are PSLs or not.

Anyone else go up the wrong ramp , back down again after some clown looks at his map and tells you where to go only to find out you need to go back up , down one and up two!!

The layout of the ramps is fucking crazy, there should be clear indicators at the bottom of the concourse , instead it says all concourses which it ain't!

Rant over ( After 5 mile hike to sec 249b on Sun!!)

What's a little weird are the ramps behind the upper endzone mezz sections. They're walled off because of the suites so you're in an isolated section that's not easy to get in or out of. If you stand on your tippy toes that's about the only section in the stadium where there's standing room to see the game. It would have been nice to get open concourses like at Yankee Stadium

I don't understand all the issues the non UD folks are having. Besides 227 and 337.

Yeah they are a bizarre area , but we then found that you can actually enter through the 249 a gate you just have to walk up the section which then gives you access to all the mezz section food etc.

Still a great stadium with Brooklyn which makes up for all of this walking!!

I have a green parking pass and came in at Paterson Plank road at 2:00PM. I was directed past a half empty Lot G into Lot F. The attendants told me I had the wrong color pass, that lot is for White passes.......

What is a white pass? I have heard of Orange, Yellow and Green.

It would be funny if they did Personal Parking Licenses. Years ago I lived in an 86 unit coop with 40 parking spots. Spots was assigned by senority how long you were in building. Well we were short cash and someone set lets sell the parking spots to the highest bidder with the montly fee remaining the same or raise maint. Well the 46 without spots all voted sell the spots. On average they sold for 15K which gave you the right to pay the monthly rent and pass the space on with your coop forever. I did not buy a spot and my maint did not rise. Those PPLs personal parking licenses helped subsidize me.

Expensive PSLs subsidize the cheap seats and the cheap PSL holders and UD people benefit more than the PSL people. We all owe a debt of gratitude to the people who bought, suites the 10K and up PSLs and club seats with tickets of $195 and up.

Some Jets fans are like naughty little kids who bitch and moan how their Dad is mean yet want to borrow his car for their Saturday Night date.

Then again I am sitting in row five of UPPER DECK Sideline for the Vikings game for my first visit to Upper Deck this decade. Maybe I will be bitching like a mofo the day afterwards

I am wondering what the White Pass is also. Could it be that special striped zone in Lot E (Premium Parking)? Or maybe it's for Lots A, H and C.

On year ago, September 2009 here is what was available in upper deck per this post from back then. Talk about funny and sad at same time!

Got my call yesterday. Seniority 1991. I asked if any non-PSL seats were still available...
Reply from my Jets sales associate via email later:
We do have non-psl seats available and I've listed availability for 4 seats:
Section 318 row 23, Section 319 row 19, Section 320 row 14, Section 321 row 14, and Section 322 row 13.

Let me know if you have any questions or would like to secure any seats. If so, a $500 deposit per seat is required. This money goes towards the 2010 season ticket cost.

I'm curious to know if Fireman Ed is any less gay now that he has a ledge to stand on instead of rubbing his crotch the whole game on some other gay guy's neck like he did for so many years

The Jets are no longer sold out lol, they changed the heading on nyjets.com. It's funny how they did this but I am still glad that they didn't sell PSL seats through ticketmaster like the Giants did.

Makes sense...because every time I've been there it's been a lot of different people around me. As long as the team is good and the weather is nice it'll be mostly full, albeit with different people. That's where the Jets were stupid. They don't understand that bad weather keeps people away. I know that from going to games all these years. Once the bad weather hits you will see the no shows. Shouldda insisted on a dome, and let the fuckin Giants keep it open if they want to be this Northeast smashmouth team they think they are. Lucas Oil Stadium is fantastic. Couldda been us.

I hope they get a "w" with their next two away games. A 3-1 record coming home would be nice!

I had never heard of the white passes until I was told that I needed one when I tried to make a left into Lot G when I came in from Paterson Plank road. I am thinking it is for media and family members of the teams.....maybe for VIP's too.

I did see one car coming north on the same road I was on between lots G and L that was able to turn into the same lot I was denied entry to. It looked like they had a white parking pass hanging from their rearview mirror.

What bugs me

[IMG][/IMG]

Well here's one of my issues with photo evidence: They have to funnel everyone into the lower concourse and make you loop back around. Why? Because they have too few escalators, and too little access and walking room to get from one escalator to the other. Why? well, as you see here in the photo there's a Verizon sales counter (or something) This causes back-ups and dangerous situations when people exiting an escalator have no where to walk causing human pile-ups with a potential for a trampling. For the Ravens game we entered via Pepsiville and were forced into a crowded lower concourse with no clue where to walk next so we could continue our "climb". Why? because there are insufficient signs indicating where the stairs, ramps, escalators or elevators ARE. Why? Because if you own a suite you have your own elevator, and if you are in the lower bowl you won't need these things. The rest of us are paying more and getting less - except for the Brooklyn Lagers. I had one too. I also had a Murphy's Stout at the Ravens game.

At Yankee Stadium I can get fancy beers by traveling from the third tier to the main concourse and back again in no time - because they thought to have elevators! I've been to sold out games there never having felt trapped, captured, or severely delayed - and I parked across the street even though i had $20 tickets.

Oh, and that girder looks "state of the art" too, doesn't it? ; ) Wait 'til the pigeons get to it, which they should by 2014's Super Bowl.
