Egg zact lee. There's a law, and a legal process. It does not call for those charged with an offense to lose pay at work. Or hurt their fellow workers. The league also has its rules. You also have the players union. How would they feel if Edwards was suspended? I hope it doesn't happen.

Roger has demonstrated that he's willing to exercise subjectivity in the handing out of punishment. You don't think that if the Jets fail to act now, he may send a message after the fallout? Suspend him for the Buffalo game and the league can save face with the public and move on. It could also help us to bring him back next year if we can get it out of the way now. The bigger concern is what this means for his probation. I'm not a legal expert, so I'll leave it to one of the criminal attorneys on the board.
If I'm not mistaken, these were first time offenses with these two players. Hopefully they've learned their lessons. Hence why I mentioned Braylon not learning because this is his second blunder in less than a year. This coming off a big win in which he played an integral part. My friend is a cop, once told me that he loves people who have tints. Easiest targets. You can pull them over for their tints and many times you end up finding something else (drunk, drugs, suspended license, etc.)
I think the medias already done that. And to be honest I don't care. The front office was the ones who brought the "thugs" in knowing it would hurt our image, so why would they care now about our image if the media makes Braylon out to be a "thug"? they front office doesn't give two shits.
A man his size would have to drink 13 beers in 3 hours to reach .16 for those of you who think he didn't drink that much.
