Although the Jets cannot be happy about this, they will not suspend him until it's absolutely mandated by the league, or in this case, after Santonio Holmes gets back.

Would be a completely different story if a crash or injuries occurred as a result of his intoxication. Thankfully, no one got hurt.

Ok now THAT I can live with. But the team must take some action suspension wise. This cannot be tolerated.

I think the passenger was Joe Namath and they were out cruising for Suzy Kolber.

    Stupid move Braylon!

He has to be suspended for at least the Dolphins game to send a message to the team that behavior like this will not be tolerated. Figuring he was Rex's shit list for the taunting penalty, he may even see two games.

Some things are more important than football. Driving drunk is one of those things.

Have perspective. As much as we would like for him to be out there with the team on sunday, he did this to himself.

Nothing happened. Chad broke his hand in the preseason, and we went 6-10.

Obviously, I dont wanna go into a division matchup without our #1 WR, but they cant play him this week, and then suspend him for buffalo. That would make the JETS look pretty bad.

Use this to calculate what he drank. http://www.ou.edu/oupd/bac.htm

A man over 200 lbs needs to drink at least 10 straight vodka's in a period of 4 hrs to blow .16 which is absolutely shitface hammered. Lay off the Ciroc Braylon!

Not if they say they're doing an investigation on the matter. it will give them more than a few days time without appearing inappropriate. by then, the Miami game will already have taken place.

Then they suspend him for buffalo once the investigation is complete. I wish Tanny had twitter so I could forward my idea to him. I think he'll probably do this anyways lol

According to Mortenson they dont think so. However that stuff is confidential. And its seperate from the Lebron incident which is contuct.

Edwards' DWI unlikely to result in suspension
According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, Braylon Edwards' DWI does not fall under personal conduct policy.
Our View: That means that Braylon will be subject to a fine, but that he would only be subject to a suspension if he was already in the league's substance abuse program, and it's unknown whether or not he was in that program. It sounds like he's likely safe from a suspension.

On shitty patsie radio they quoted Tanny as saying the Jets have a "player protection program" and the team pays for players to be picked up and driven home via car service.

If Braylon didn't call, he is almost as retarded as The Great American.

They also mentioned his bar tab was $3400 dollars, not sure how they knew that.
