Given our depth at WR and all the other injuries we already have I don't see how the team can voluntarily give up their #1 WR for an important divisional road game. The fins are 2-0 and the Rex has yet to beat them. I'll be very disappointed if they "send a message" here. That hurts the team.
The Jets were going to have to make a decision by the end of the year...Pay Holmes or Edwards. Can't afford to keep both. Edwards just made that decision.....he's gone after this season.

Agreed.... Maualaga was convicted...and did not get a game off. Now, Edwards had the other incident in Cleveland, but giving 4 games, like Rapelisberger? Not seeing it.
First DUI offense, but the man is on probation for punching that guy in Cleveland, less than a year ago too. So now he may have to worry about ramifications with his probation, which might also increase the wrath of Goodell. You guys are lucky you signed Santonio Holmes....if he manages to stay cleaner than Braylon.

this seems to be the norm with DUI cases. I'm not sure if the logic behind it is to wait till the legal process is done before deciding the extent of punishment. In the cases of Rapelesberger, they didn't do that but that's obviously a much bigger deal than a DUI.
FYI folks, Braylon should be very lucky that he did not blow a .18 or higher because in NY that would fall under the aggravated DUI statute.

Yea, any cut or trade talk for Braylon is a horrible idea, but I think most posts talking about trading wanted to bring in another WR to replace Braylon during his as of yet to be assigned suspension. He probably should and most likely will be suspended for at least one game for this. Players typically get docked a game for this type of behavior...during the year after.
