if he's playing well, he definitely needs to keep the beard. In fact, I'd like to see him grow it out some more, to Moses levels would be nice. Then he's be making one handed, one finger catches all over the place.
Braylon's never had trouble making one handed, one finger catches. It was always the easiest, routine balls he'd drop.
Man I hope he keeps that thing. It has to be intimidating as hell for the people who line up on him to know they could get beaten by the beard at any moment. Not to mention he'll have a warm face when it gets cold and any little advantage...
I'd think CBs would be more pressured from not wanting to get dougie'd on by Edwards than the beard itself.
Any little advantage... If I was Braylon Edwards I'd be eating cheetos before the game until my beard was orange and sticky, then I'd make sure to turn my head into the CB's face on the routes I knew I wasn't going to get the ball. Give him a nice long rub with the beard and then get the hell out of the way when he looked like he was going to puke.
