I was at the game today and saw one of the most disgusting things i have ever seen... i was in row 24 of section 312... right next to me in section 313 a 65 year old man fell down and face planted on the seat in front him while celebrating a td... his nose started bleeding pretty badly and people ran down to get security and napkins to stop the bleeding... it took at least 15 minutes for security to get to his seats and then another 10 before first aid. by that time he had already stopped bleeding... it was one f the most outrageous things i have ever seen... when they finally got up there me and others let them hear it... they have 10 people at every section down low to make sure no one gets into a psl section but cant get anyone up to an old man who was bleeding... i really hope the man files a complaint... sorry to bring up any negatives on what was otherwise a great day but i was outraged by this.
You should go into hiding for a few weeks. The secret service are going to be tracking you now that you've made this public. You've effectively just painted a giant target on your back.
As sad as it is for a Jets fans to be hurt during a game, security has more shit to worry about than someone faceplanting on the ground or a chair from celebrating on his own. If your nose bleeds, and want first aid, go to them. You can't expect them to come to you in 2 minutes. Even ambulances in the face of deaths take longer to show up than that.
Also, when people fall down stadium steps it's usually really funny. They were probably just being sensitive to his feelings and getting their laughter under control before they went to check on him.
three people went down and told the person at the gate about him and he radioed the security people and it still took them 20 minutes... it was bullshit.
this guy was fairly old and fell down... he wasnt going to go down a long flight of steps to get security to look at him... when people get the security at the bottom of the gate they should get people there somewhat quickly.
I probably would've been more sympathetic if I personally witnessed the scene myself, but I wouldn't expect any better from any other stadiums. If that man was with me as family or a friend, I would've been more proactive and fetched him first aid myself, instead of waiting blindly for them to come.
its not that big a deal. Its a nose bleed not a heart attack. If it bothered you so much u could of gotten him napkins and not asked security too.
we didnt ask security to get us napkins... everyone around him gave him napkins... we asked security to at least come up and make sure he was ok.
leave it to the wonderful ganggreen posters to ruin this thread. that sucks, i hate seeing old people get hurt and the security should have been far quicker to help him. maybe it was karma that got the guy in the endzone who got the back of his knee taken out.
