I think that the first time Tom Brady wasn't on the injury report was right before week one of the 2008 season. I should note that I'm not 100% sure on that.

 

Heard him in the car today, and the guy was all confused. I think he has Alzheimers or something, on at least 5 occasions he referred to the Giants as the Jets when talking about the Colts game this weekend

 

A Dolphins fan from Howard Beach called and was bragging about how he scored a touchdown in the new Meadowlands Stadium before the Jets did. The other night he was playing in a two hand touch game sponsored by The Daily News.

 

Thanks for the background Cakes; had just jumped into the car after work and wanted to give a quick listen to the WFAN-BUDDA to see if I'd catch a Jet-bash...just so happened that he was in full sneer....

 

I happened to be listening to Joe and Evan do their weekly Friday spot with Carl Banks, just before the second commercial Joe started a sentence with 'I hate to agree with Francesa on anything but...' and Banks jumped in and said something to the effect of 'He's always gonna pound your team' basically. It was kind of amusing hearing even a neutral - and a Giant fan and broadcaster at that - realize how one-sided Francesa is.

We all know if the game was the opposite way around statistically and on the scoreboard Tank would have been making excuses about the refs.

Tha Jets did nothin on 3rd down! They just played against a weak secondary and refs that can't keep the flag outta dare pocketzz!

The Ravens ran fuh 5.5 yahds puh carry. The Jets had a yahhhhd puh carry! The Ravens wuh unpruhpahed and yah still only won by 1 pt.

The guy just can't give the Jets defense any credit no matter how few points we allow...at least now he can shut up about us being hopeless without Revis (although he'll blame us for Revis's injury since he said at one point 'the Jets didn't get him into camp' as if the Jets were locking him out of camp). I didn't notice Moss or Welker in the second half

 

He's gonna give the Jets props on Mike'D up and probably props on his radio show tomorrow. By Tuesday he's gonna start making excuses for NE

That cheap shot that Smith had on Welker changed the course of the game. The Jets are dirty headhunters.
