Vikings had 3 drives that covered more than 50 yards. Short field is what helped Minnesota. How many 50+ yard drives did New England have on you? Adrian Peterson had a very good game, but don't act like we were just dominated on defense, because that ws far from the case if you watched the game.
Excellent point, the Jets always seem to take the dolphins a bit too lightly. As long as the special teams plays solid, and Sanchez and Schotty groove together well again, we will be fine.

The Dolphins defense looks improved but still ... the Vikings ran up 22 first downs and held the ball for 36 minutes. They should have easily scored 20 points if they didn't keep shooting themselves in the foot. To think that you'll hold us to 9 points is a fairytale. Your D just isn't that dominant.
Brandon Fields (Miami's punter) has been a god damned boss at punting. If Miami didn't cough the damn ball up inside their own 20, Minnesota would have been backed up quite a bit. Punter showcase next week!

I'll take a win anyway I can get. everybody expected the fins to get blown out today, and now that they won, it's because the Vikings were without Rice / blah / blah. I was just using that stupid argument against the stupid Dolphins fans making similarily pathetic points. But for a level headed Dolphins fan like you I can say I was impressed with the Dolphins beating the Vikings in the Metrodome. I can think of tons of excuses as to why they won but whatever, they won. It should be a really physical game on Monday Night. 2 running teams, and hopefully Revis can heal up so he can go 1on1 with Marshall.
