Apparently back at Nevada's Pro Day, he ran three sub 4.3 40 yard dashes. First: 4.18 Second:4.08 3rd: 4.2 Now I realize there is always a margin of error, but even adding that into the fact, he's still plenty fast considering he's 6-1, 245. He was named WAC's preseason Defensive Player of the Year and to the Hendrick Award watch list. His last 2 years starting look like this: 2008: 50 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, and four forced fumbles 2009: 61 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles He may lack the normal size as a 3-4 LB, but I think he could excel at OLB in both defenses. Speed at that position doesn't come around that often...
Moch is a beast. That's really the only way to describe the kid. If the pulls shit like this off at the combine, he'll be a top fifteen pick, because on top of the amazing workout numbers, he's been incredibly productive at Nevada.
I follow Walter Football.....they have a guy Matt Maguire who writes draft blogs for them & he's got Moch at the bottom of the 1st round going to the Saints. He's also got us picking Jerrell Powe NT from Ole Miss.
Moch is a beast. Great first step and quickness around the edge, also decent with a bull rush, needs to work on his hands a bit because he will not be able to completely dominate NFL lineman like he did last night. I also liked his awareness on a few plays where he dropped off the rush to cover the screen. Also noticed him dropping back into Zone coverage on a few plays, which is great experince for a potential 34 OLB. He seems to have a very good football IQ. Vereen alos put on a clinic last night. A Short but stout back in thje mold of Ray Rice or MJD. Showed good vision in the hole, great balance to stay up after the first hit, and speed to make the big play. I'm interested in seeing what others think of him.
