That I could see. VJax to the Skins makes a ton of sense. Haynesworth to us makes sense. VJax to the Jets makes very little sense considering we'd have to give up an early draft pick, we don't throw that much, and we have Santonio Holmes coming here in three weeks.
incarceratedbob *BREAKING NEWS* Redskins have called Jets to see interest in a three way deal involving Vincent Jackson to Skins & Haynesworth to Jets EDIT, Already posted but I highly doubt this will happen too. Unless Haynesworth takes a pay-cut.
Good god I would hate Haynesworth on this team. He looked like a big baby on the sideline in the Cowboys game.
Bob just direct messaged me, and said the Chargers want the Jets to send them picks. The Charger would then give the Redskins Vincent Jackson, and Albert would become a NY Jet.
I don't buy it. 1.) Who is this "Bob" character? Shaky source, at best. 2.) Doesn't Albert have a HUGE contract? Don't we already have countless guys we're looking to re-sign this offseason? 3.) Ablert hates the 3-4, which we run plenty of.
Bob has gotten shit right before, and has fucked up too. I believe this has a 40% chance of happening.
As much as I love what Tanny has done in the draft the past few years, I would really like to keep some picks this year...
exactly.. Plus we owe the Chargers what/? A conditional third for Cromartie that could turn into a 2nd? I would tell the Chargers hey that Cro conditional pick turns into a 2nd, and you guys can have a 2012 5th or some shit.
I'm conflicted on this one. On the one hand, he's a big jackass and a bitch for his behavior. On the other, Shannahan isn't the nicest guy in the world. I mentioned this in a different thread, but if Haynesworth were willing to play nose in an "elite" defense, it could be a totally different story with him. Let's be honest, people like playing for Rex. If Haynesworth is happy and playing NT in place of Jenkins, I think our defense gets a lot back after the loss. Obviously this is contingent on Haynesworth showing he's willing to be on his best behavior and act like he wants to be here. If he's at all willing, I'd take the chance. It's only a rental while we draft the eventual replacement plus get Ropati back next year.
This is pure BS, he is currently under contract that would pay him up to $115 million, and he has $41 million guaranteed. We saved $1.2 million in cap space with Jenkins, we can not Albert's contract.
I can see Albert saying "Hhaahah yeah Rex I'll play NT sure hahahahahhahahahahah... just get me the fuck out of Washington..This Shannahan guy is a real jerk off.. When I act like a dick to you..you probably wont be as much as an asshole...hahahahah i got so much fucking money" incarcerated bob
There were posts made while I was writing my last one. If all San Diego wants is picks, I pull the trigger, again, as long as Big Al is willing to play nose for us. And as long as it's not the first rounder (or a swap deal.) Remember guys, we're not going to be able to field everyone we have now again next year. This is a "win right now" team. You have to pull the trigger on this and go for it all.
i could be wrong on this but i think the skins have to eat the $21 mill which leaves a 3 year/$16 mill contract left to pick up. Not bad for the talent but i'm not sure the attitude and emotional instability of that turd are worth it.
