    for the last 24 hours I keep seeing an undercurrent of people claiming to be "insiders" who think the jets are sniffing around VJax. This make no sense to me but i figure you guys know better. Any reason they would do this? HOlmes, Edwards, Cotch...vjax doesn't make any sense...

    The only sense it would make is that they have just spent the last six months cozying up to his agents. It may be them spreading the rumor. Other than that I can't see why the Jets would ever want to talk to those two guys again.

    inside sources say that the #jets have make a deal w/the chargers to acquire Vincent Jackson about 1 hour ago via TweetDeck

    Bad matchup for the Jets & for Jackson. WR can't really impact this team considering how few passes actually go downfield.

    Better to spend the money on backup linemen (if there's anything decent still out there).

    who said that... V Jax would be cool, but he is the ultimate asshole off the field(more than Holmes I think, and Holmes from what I have seen kinda is a diff guy now)

    I haven't heard one peep on this over yonder in twitter land.

    Not only would we have to trade a pick but pay his huge salary. This makes absolutely no sense, at all.
