Great. From Cimini's twitter: Uh, oh: Darrelle Revis limited in practice today because of hamstring. Residual from holdout? #Jets Well, can't say this is too surprising after that holdout. can stay in shape, but football shape is different. This seems to happen to everyone who holds out for an extended period of time.
More Ryan on Revis: "I'm not overly concerned right now, but anytime it's a hamstring you get a little nervous."
So Revis has a "Tight Hamstring" This is what happens when you miss camp. When he signed, that was the first thing I told my friends-- watch out for hamstring injuries. These injuries linger, and are incredibly difficult to shake. I am praying this is not going to be a problem.
The hammy being tight doesn't bother me too much, if they said it was "tweaked" or something then I'd be concerned.
My gut had a bad feeling about this season...and the start of it has done nothing to change my gut. Only a win Sunday can do that. If Revis doesn't play like Revis, this defense will not be the same.
Last week we got to hear about how Sanchez had his best practice ever as a Jet heading into the game. All these reports we hear during the week are irrelevant once Sunday rolls around.
My gut told me we were going to go undefeated, so now my gut is telling me we'll go 15-1. I trust mine over yours.
Bad news. Holding out negatively affected the team in week one and now it appears that holding out is going to continue to negatively affect the team.
