Kansas State's running back Daniel Thomas will be a household name by the end of the year. He's an absolutely beast.
During last night's Mississippi St. / Auburn game, they couldnt take the camera off DL Nick Fairley making plays - 6-5 298. 2nd season at Auburn, JUCO transfer. Could be mid-rounder if he comes out this year.
If he keeps playing like he did last night, he'll get picked pretty high. This is a kid we need to keep an eye on. He's a very good 3-4 end prospect.
^I'm keeping an eye on two defensive linemen from last night's Auburn/Mississippi State game. The previously mentioned Nick Fairley and Mississippi State's Pernell McPhee. McPhee is strong as hell and he has great experience as a 3-4 end.
Whoever was watching the Marshall-WVU game last night, the name Vinny Curry was said about 20 times. He is about 240, and 6-5, so his size is rough for a 3-4, but the motor on this dude is unreal. He had roughly 10 tackles, along with 3 TFL, 3 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. The guy was CONSTANTLY in the backfield, and was at times unstoppable. He reminded me a lot of Brandon Graham. Also, the WVU receiver Tavon Austin looked really good. The guy just makes plays happen after the catch, and turned a couple of 3-4 yard passes into 11-12 yard gains. I was very impressed with his play in the open field. And some guy named Noel Devine looked pretty good too. I dunno if anyone has heard of him
If he puts on ten or fifteen pounds over the next two seasons, which should be pretty easy for him, he'll be a pretty good running back prospect.
If he can catch, he'll be put all over the field in the pro game. I was pretty amazed at what he did today.
He's a track star playing QB in a spread offense. 6'0" 190 LBs isn't cutting it at QB in the NFL. Could be an excellent KR/PR, RB/WR in the NFL. One of the best athletes you'll ever see in a football uniform....most exciting player in College Football.
toally agree. Offenses that use wrinkles like Schotty can use a kid like him if he has the ability to catch. He's not a pro QB. There is another season until he's eligible, so I'm excited to see him continue.

I went to the horseshoe today, my players to watch: Sean Spence: Outstanding player and IMO, Miami's best player on the field. A little undersized, but is a tough player who gets after it.....I'm impressed. Damien Berry: Good runner that plays with heart and emotion. DeVier Posey: Makes the tough catch and should be a solid #2 NFL receiver. Chimdi Chekwa: next very good CB from OSU to enter the NFL. Is a ballhawk and very physical. Could possibily fall into late Rd 1 if he continues to impress.
Trent Richardson RB- Alabama: He benches 460lbs and squats over 600lbs. He has quick feet, great cuts, and punishes tacklers.
He maxes 475 on bench FWIW. Mr. 407 has always been a weight room warrior, I've actually experienced being owned by him in T&F....
Janoris Jenkins has been a monster in UFs first two games. I didn't even have him close to the top fifty preseason but after he way he's stepped his game up he's looking like a first rounder.
If anyone out there didn't know John Clay from the last years Champs Sports Bowl, they should know him by now. Great power runner and is pretty elusive for a big guy. What about this Broyles kid from Oklahoma? I haven't seen either of their games yet, but apparently this dude is lighting it up. Is he a YAC kind of guy, deep threat, etc?
South Carolina's Freshman Marcus Lattimore is a beast. Although it seems he runs a little too high. He trucks people and yet still looks like he could add an easy 15 lbs on his frame.
Maybe he could become a more impactful and more althletic ( if thats possible ) Brad Smith Type of player?
For Boyles, think Greg Jennings. Not purely a deep ball guy, but can go downfield and make plays, or catch it short and take it to the house. Not big or lightning fast, but he's the kind of guy who just has a knack for scoring touchdowns. He had 15 TDs on 89 catches last year, and 3 already this season. He's not the 6'4 monster that all of the other top WRs are this year, but should work his unique skills into Rd 1.
