the most annoying thing about francesa is how he destroys the jet defense all the time like it's not any good. the constant nit picking of everything is the funniest thing. i remember last year the jets were #1 in YPG and #6 in PPG and he would yell at Jet fans saying yards mean nothing it's all about the points. then when they got to #1 in PPG the excuse was that they don't have a natural pass rush. then the excuse was that they gave up late TD drives. Today he said he doesn't care about how they only allowed 10 pts...haha he hates the fact that rex calls the jets a physical team.
Well, Ive never heard the guys, only read about him on here. I was gunna check out what he said today. Do they have podcasts or anything like that available on the website where you can re-listen to it?

I think the only podcasts they have of his show are the interviews which are very tame. The best time to catch this show is when he opens up the phone lines and the show goes Jerry Springer mode with Jet fan callers vs Mike. The most entertaining weeks are when the Giants lose and the Jets win, and he goes in defensive mode. Which produced this gem. I think the best time to listen to him is after a Jets win because thats when hell try and justify how they got lucky or they only won because the other team did this. Guess what if this game was reversed and the Jets won and the Ravens comitted 10 penalties 130 yards only thing he would say is well they only won because the Ravens commited penalties all day long and the pass interference was a terrible call or the running into the kicker is a dumb rule, hey ref use some logic there.

That's like when the Jets lost to the Falcons last year because of missed FG's but that's the way it works but when the Giants win the SB because Tyree makes and amazing catch or Norwood missed a FG it's because they were better.

I don't understand why anybody would listen to mike at this point in his tired and hackneyed career. his show should be re-titled "bitter old mike antagonizes people, yells at people and hangs up on people" If thats what you like to listen to fozzi - enjoy it to your hearts content. I am surprised anybody finds that type of programming to be entertaining. Mike once had an interesting program - about 15-20 yrs ago w/the doggie. Interesting talk, diverse guests, fun segments. Back then he wasn't the bitter old angry johnny one note douchebag that he has become. But at this point he has become essentially unlistenable. he is the new pete franklin except not as smart or as funny as Pete was. So I am not complaining at all. Listened to his show a few times & find him very condescending. For callers, it seems it's almost impossible to disagree with his opinion & be viewed as anything besides stupid. I do sense an anti-Jet vibe but I think he's pretty open about it & doesn't even bother hiding it.
