The orange parking passes purchased from the ticketexchange are NOT accepted at any of the lots surrounding the IZOD center. They are only accepted at LOT B and LOT P. We found this out the hard way when our tailgate was separated by the boobs working in the parking lots on Monday night. WHEN IS AN ORANGE LOT NOT AN ORANGE LOT ; WHEN THE F-CKING JETS ARE INVOLVED. Nowhere is it stated on any website that those parking passes are only accepted in certain lots. This whole new stadium and parking system is a nightmare !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    WTF? This is incredible!

I used my hard parking ticket for Lot 26, so was unaware of this going on. Parking Pass should scan in any Orange Lot no matter what. Are you sure this thing was legit?

We were told that the orange lots around the IZOD arena do not have scanners. You can't argue with stupidity !!!!!

Lot B and Lot P are the greatest invention, ever. No scanners. People are selling parking passes on Jets ticket exchange then using their original pass to park there for free. You can have your cake and eat it too. Heck buy one pass photocopy away for all your family and friends.

Jets need to close this huge loophole asap.

This organization is unbelievable. I just spoke to Jeana Daniels at the Jets office (973-549-4895). She swore to me that ALL the orange lots are supposed to accept the ticket exchange orange parking passes. But , twice, we have had people turned away from LOT 26 because we did not have original orange parking passes. The ticket takers still tell us that they will only accept the ticket exchange parking passes at LOT B and LOT P. Is their no communication between these people. It appears that the football team is being run the same as the behind the scene operations. What a cluster-f-ck !!!!!

But THEY DO HAVE SCANNERS. We pulled into 26 and they scanned my Orange Parking Pass and let us through. This is freaking ridiculous.

Okay, I am understanding this more clearly. You are saying 26, 27 and 28 will not accept anything but original, hard-copy Parking Passes. I cannot tell you if this is true or not, because I gave them my original hard copy Pass to scan.

But I DO KNOW that they have scanner in Lot 26. So the issue is, why are they not able to scan your TicketMaster Parking Passes? Could it be that you coincidentally got two bad passes (ones that were sold electronically but then used the hard copy to get in before you got there?) If so, taht explains why your TicketMaster Passes did not scan (they were invalid at that point).

Both ticket exchange orange parking passes were legit. I purchased them myself and immediately printed them. Bottom line, according to the JETS, all lots should be accepting them. According to the parking Nazis, they are not accepting them .

The JHets need to get their heads out of their asses. But this is only the tip of the iceberg for them.

I heard a lot of grumbling last night. A lot of displeasure all the way around.... from people in Lot 26 to people going into the tunnel to get to the stadium, to people pissed off about the men's room traffic-flow configuration to people getting out of the stadium and finally about traffic patterns.

The Jets have fucked up royally by screwing the Upper guys with the Orange fiasco, but I heard stuff coming from PSL people as well. I think there are going to be a lot of One 'n Doners in the Uppers and probably more PSLs being sold in March (or outright PSL defaults) than management anticipated.

And everyone I talked to about the stadium agreed that there was nothing wrong with Giants Stadium. This was to the man... 100% said the same thing. So, there are a lot of pissed off people irritated about a lot more than just this Parking thing.

I can vouch that many people with print-outs of parking passes (whether they were legit PSL/yellow passes or not, I can't say) were turned away in parts of lot K. We parked near one of the entrances and the guy manning it said he could only let in official (yellow) car tags.

This was clearly because the guys manning the entrances didn't have scanners and they were letting in orange passes in the same gates as yellow, thus they couldn't verify if it was a PSL-level pass or not, since it was just a print-out (easily forged). As much as it sucks for the people who paid for "real" PSL passes and got turned away, it makes sense, since (part of) the goal of the Jets to get people to buy PSLs was the perks, such as parking. If I had spent $700 for a Coaches Club ticket, I sure as hell would be pissed if someone with a LLEZ ticket was getting free food for a fraction of the cost.

The solution? Get these guys scanners or (probably impossible to do) don't let orange in the same gate as yellow.

Orange and yellow weren't allowed in the same gate for the Jets Giants preseason game.

I went into the gate off of Route 3 next to the Timex center. They scanned the pass there, but then just visually disseminated where people could go based on the color of your pass. Got there at 3pm and they said since we had Orange passes we had to go to lot P because all other orange lots were filed. Buddies came in through the other side near Izod at 4pm and parked next to the arena in an orange lot. Clearly they were lying. In hindsight, I should have known this and came in near the arena.

On the other hand, I wouldn't do or recommend such a thing, because if you purchased a PSL you deserve the closer parking, but couldn't someone just scan an orange pass into a computer, and then Photoshop it yellow? They are the same pass except the color which seems to be a pretty poor security system. Couldn't you scan in at the gate with the legit orange pass at the game, then proceed to the yellow lot in side the gate, flash the photo-shopped one at the guy (they were not examining them or anything) and you're all set no? Seems like people could take advantage of it pretty easy.

I thought of about 10 different ways the system could be side-stepped within about 5 minutes. After that, I went back to my beer.

Not sure if this is the reason, but keep in mind the lots on the stadium side of 120 are part of the New Meadowlands Stadium Commission, where as the Izod side lots are controlled by the NJSEA. This is why up until two weeks ago any of the maps you saw showed lettered lots on one side of the complex, and unlettered or unnumbered orange lots on the Izod Side. I think it was 17A who initially posted a map with 26, 27, 28 added to the original map. How else can you explain the letter system on one side of the road, and a numbered system beginning with 26 on the other?

I contacted the New Meadowlands Stadium customer service about this void of information before the Giants game, and was told that this was the reason - They do not govern the Izod side - it is not their property.

When I emailed the map that 17A had posted to the New Meadowlands Stadium customer service guy, (so he could help someone else who needed help) the Jets created the current version that included labeled 26,27, 28 lots. I am pretty sure that the new maps were a result of all this. Pretty incredible when you consider the Jets specifically designated these "non-NMS lots" for their season ticket holders.

Thanks for the info LOGESECTION2ROWJ ; do you have the phone number of your New Meadowlands customer service guy. I'd like to talk to them myself to resolve my problem. The Jets are no help.

I just spoke to someone at NJSEA (201-559-1515) and he told me that all the lots around the IZOD should be accepting the orange parking passes from the ticket exchange. Everyone keeps saying that the passes should be accepted, but no one is telling the parking attendants . This is turning into a comedy . Typical of anything associated with the JETS .

Just spoke to someone at 800-469-JETS and they still think that the orange ticket exchange passes are accepted at all orange lots . He said that he was going to report this to his supervisor at their next meeting . ONE HAND DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THE OTHER HAND IS DOING !! TYPICAL JETS !!

Here is the information that I received from ParkingInfo@NJSEA.COM :
the original orange passes have a perforated portion that is removed by
    the toll collector.

    the computer generated passes do not have a tear- off portion;
therefore have to be scanned on the stadium side.

scanners are used by central parking (they park the stadium lots), not
by njsea (they park the izod center lots.)

i hope this clears it up for you. if not, please contact central
    parking at contact@nmstadco.com
