Yup, Ray's postgame quote pretty much puts the blame on Schotty's predictable play-calling. Let the kid throw downfield...

Ray would have loved that all the play was ahead of him.

I said it in other threads....Schotty played right into the Ravens' strength...their front 7.

Sanchez should've been taking shots down the field....and then called running plays when the coverage backed off.

But what the fuck do i know.....i'm just a fan.

The call that pissed me off the most was the screen to Greene that he dropped. Sure call that play when LT is in the game, but when he's fuckin breathin on the sidelines throw downfield.

    Wow....LolTolhurst. That's a blast from the past.

But yeah, Sanchez is tough to watch in this offense. There's too much going on without much substance. Is it me or does Sanchez kill every play at the line and change into some ultra-conservative play?

Are you talking about that swing pass in the 4th quarter? I remember him having room in front of him, enough to get the 1st down. He just flat out dropped it

It was pretty frustrating to see Sachez constantly dumping it off. Not even looking down the field or letting shit develope.... Not a lot of runs to the outside either, which is something they should have tried instead of running into the teethe of the D over and over.

The worst offensive performance I've seen in a long time. This was 2005-esque.

I dont know if its shotty or Sanchez's fault, but like I said in the other thread... every play is basically a one reciever route and a checkdown

we can't play like this. If this guy is seriously not capable of being an NFL QB then sit him and put clemens in or something who actually has shown flashes of promise

There is a very big problem. They will never bench Sanchez and Schotty won't be fired this year. Be prepared for last year part 2. They will have a good performance one week and look like shit the next...no consistency and no ring

Right but you dont run that play when Greene just got back in the game after sitting all that time for fumbling. Real confidence booster Shotty!

Is it possible that the routes are being called down the field... but that Sanchez just isnt throwing it to them?

He didnt even look like he was looking down the field? He was checking down way too fast. Jaws even pointed out multiple times how he had WRs open down field, but wasnt even letting plays develop.

That isnt on the coordinator. Thats on Sanchez. Shott can only call the plays... how Sanchez runs them is a different story.

That wasnt a screen. That was a swing pass on a check down...

The play was not designed to go to Green...

yeah, u heard the "kill, kill" cadence on almost every play. But you still can't put this one on Sanchez. IMO I think Schotty called the game like he was afraid of the Ravens D, and it castrated the Jets offense. I mean c'mon...not one fucking shot downfield? I'm surprised Rex Ryan didn't morph into his father and punch the offensive coordinator...it certainly would've been warranted
