I know this dude is a rookie, but he was singlehandedly responsible for 7 points in a 10-9 game with that PI call. He shouldnt be seeing that field that much. Throw Lowery, throw Coleman in there, anybody but Wilson. If hes going to make these type of rookie/mental mistakes he might as well not see the field. Let him play special teams for a good portion. I think I saw him in almost every play.
He shouldn't have been in against Boldin. He didn't play well but he should not have been 1 on 1 with Boldin.
Have we figured out why Wilson was ever on Boldin in the first place? I sort of figured Revis would be locked in on him the entire game.
DUDE he was guarding a top NFL reciever in his first ever game. Just wait until he has to guard some REAL #3 recievers, then he will take care of them. and if he doesn't then come yell at me
FYP! As otehrs have stated, we left a rook in his first game 1 on 1 vs the likes of Housh, Boldin, and Mason for a good part of the game. What the hell do you want out of the kid?
Lol he was 1 on 1 against Boldin/Heap/Housh/Mason all night, what do you expect from him? I thought he was fine considering it was his first game in the NFL.
From what I gathered, they had Revis playing LCB, Cro playing RCB and Wilson nickel no matter the match up
In the post game press conference, Ryan stated that there was a blown blitz on that play. He said that Flacco should never have been able to get the ball off and he's not holding the rookie responsible.
Kyle played as well as he could, obviously the coaches didnt understand they were giving Baltimore a mismatch! poor evaluation of talent. they should have at least rotated the other nickel backs!
