Sanchez and Schotty should be ashamed of themselves. I was really hoping to give Sanchez the benefit of the doubt coming into the first regular season game. But he was awful last season (albeit as a rookie), awful in the pre-season, and absolutely horrific in the first game. It's time to call a turd a turd.
1st and goal from the 12 or whatever it was, after the turnover. Run...... God forbid you catch the defense on their toes for one fkn play. That was the most disgusting offensive called game I have ever seen. This team won't sniff a superbowl. Schott sucks, period. So fkn sick of these crappy fkn west coast offenses always trying to fkn trick everyone. I want a vertical passing game on this team. One fkn weakness was the Ravens secondary, refs calling fkn everything, and do NOTHING to try to attack it. DISGUSTING
Disregarding the dump-offs, this was a terribly called game. Especially if Sanchez was told to take care of the ball all game.
This thread should be renamed fire schotty part 4. This offense was absolutely ill prepared to adapt to the game situation. For christ's sakes the Ravens rush defense is stout and has been for years. Then why the fuck doesn't Schotty let Sanchez open it up and attack a weakened Ravens secondary. God Dammit so fucking pathetic. Fuck of course the Jets lose the home opener. Fuck Schotty Fire him! Look, they have Sanchez shell shocked because of all the interceptions from last year. So on 3rd and 9 he throws to his check down for 5 yards. They are playing not to lose football which results in a loss.
Brian Schottenheimer should have been fired 3 years ago. Tonight was an absolute travesty.. he is actually getting worse.

Our offense is indeed terrifying ... to jets fans. I am so disgusted I can't even find the words. They have Sanchez so scared of throwing down the field that even when they have a passing play he's too scared to let it develop and immediately dumps it off to a running back even when he has time. They should introduce Sanchez to his receivers because I'd swear after watching this game that he's never met them.
lol there are some in this forum who will continue to say there's nothing wrong with our offense, move along and that it was the Ravens defense. IMO the Ravens outplayed us. They were actually able to move the ball on offense despite our good defense. Sure our defensive penalties hurt but our defense gave us PLENTY of opportunities to win the game. The good news? Sanchez didn't throw an interception! Woohooo! :beer: Like someone said, the Ravens secondary came into this game limping and we couldn't capitalize on it because our throws were short and we ran. That last pass to Keller epitomized how atrocious our offense is right now. Keller has to know where the first down marker is on 4th and 1 with under a minute to play in the game. Period.
