Nice, I was hoping to see Greene active.

He has an ankle injury. Doesn't sound too serious, but I think they want him to be 100% before he comes back, rather than risk a nagging injury all season

Ducasse is an interesting one.. if Slauson goes down or something, I guess Turner is up

Jeff Cumberland is inactive? Who do we have at TE that can catch the ball besides Keller?

Also, I think Cumberland being deactivated shows the Jets plan on pounding the ball tonight (maybe due to weather as well) and have no use for an extra receiving option.

We all knew Ducasse would be inactive. We'll be fine with 2 backups.

Haha, what, no faith in Hartstock?? But Rex said he was going to double his receptions total for this year!

In all seriousness though, like I put in my post above this, I think it speaks to what the Jets strategy for tonight is going to be. No use for an extra receiving option.

We also need the extra protection of a blocking TE like Hartsock on the left side on passing downs.

Ed Reed is on the PUP list and out for the first 6 weeks. They get a roster exemption for that and he isn't included.

Barring injury I'd be surprised if he's active at all this season.

Even then we probably bring another veteran in.

What did you think this offense was going to look like?

And Hunter. And Turner. Rex loves running sets with them out as TEs

Disappointed we won't get to see Pool, but I have the utmost faith in Smithedigbo.
